  1. Cool- do you have plans for it or just a display engine?
  2. Very nice, looks in great condition! What extra parts were you able to score?
  3. Those are really cool, can’t wait to see the final display! Merry Christmas!

I wish I would have seen it earlier and not in the last few seconds as it was closing.

Unfortunately I didn’t win, found it right as it was finishing and threw a number in there before I had time to really review it. It does look like the O&R swap would be pretty easy. O’well, missed another one. It’s been harder and harder to find items I don’t have and when I do I can’t afford them…

Looks like one of the Cox versions came up on ePay…. I don’t know how to retrieve photos from ePay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/203753966277?autorefresh=true&nma=true&si=0By7azldNoeDkAa9NgMbXioeKc4%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  7. That’s awesome, nice grab! Looks great on the shelf!
  8. Slowly improving, it was a break-through case and I’m hoping I don’t have that “long COVID” mess. It’s been 2 weeks now and I’m still not back to normal.
  9. Like Wallfish suggested, I’ve had great luck with the Toro 32 oz fuel cans and mixing with Stihl oil. BUT, I’ve never run any of my O&R engines for extended periods - I use this mix to get them running and then on occasions for short spurts just for fun. https://www.toro.com/en/homeowner/walk-behind-mowers/fluids-4-cycle-canned-fuel-131-3823
  10. Man, still love your custom build of one of these- amazing!
  11. Welcome to the forum! Great find, those mini bikes don’t come up often. Yes, too bad the previous owner threw out the suitcase. Yours looks to be in really nice shape! I’ve never seen a green one but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible. Wallfish and Factory will know more. Are you looking for engine parts or parts for the mini bike frame, etc.? Have you looked into the engine at all or tried to see if it’ll run?
  12. Hmmm, I don’t recall. I’ll have to dig out the saw and study that a little.

  14. Good point, direct fuel and no pop while there is spark is odd. If you decide you need a new condenser I think this is the right one for the 20A. https://www.ebay.com/itm/193427935921?hash=item2d093412b1:g:HSUAAOSwwnpemjfc
  15. Sorry, haven’t thought about this lately. Got Covid so it knocked me out for a couple weeks.
  16. Van you tell if you’re getting fuel from the tank to the carb? I have one of these saws (not the Ford version) and when I dug into it I found that the fuel filter and line in the tank were completely clogged and rotten. One of those black levers on top should be a choke too. There’s also a funky plastic reed valve with a rubber seal where it mates to the carburetor. If that think is rock hard or the plastic flaps are cracked it’ll let air in.
  17. I know this is dumb but if I use a throttle trigger could I maybe go with a drive shaft directly on an engine without needing a gear box? Happy Thanksgiving to All!
  18. Wow, that was fast! Looks like it might fit.
  19. Ha- I was looking at those awhile back and hoping to find a cheap used one to see if the pumps were close enough…
  20. Just let me know, sorry I was late getting to this party… good to see some more action recently. I need to start another O&R project, it’s been too long. By the way if you want some new gaskets there are a few on ePay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/193878842737?hash=item2d24145d71:g:ZzMAAOSwVChgHCCF https://www.ebay.com/itm/363282262791?hash=item54954f6b07:g:zagAAOSwfeJgHBrx
  21. I’ll look through my parts but I’m sure I have a couple of the little carb gaskets
  22. How about a Type 135 with older style gear box like the one for the Polaris snowblower?
  23. Not yet but scheming up an idea of my own…
  24. What is the gearbox ratio and rpm for a typical O&R chainsaw? What would be the best model to use to reach between 3000-4000 rpm?
  25. That Crutching unit is a nice find! I’ve never heard of such a thing. Thank you for posting all the manuals and parts info as well, this early TAS stuff is hard to find!
