CNew got a reaction from Brian Lynch in Carb part question
Someone more knowledgeable than me will likely respond but I think I had one of those once and it was just completely clogged with dried fuel/oil mix. It took a lot of poking with small tools and frequent spraying with B12 carb cleaner. I don’t think the one I had had any screen or anything inside it but I’m not certain.

Almost forgot about this unique and very interesting feature of these things.
Notice where the diaphragm section of the carb is. It's not connected to the carb body and feeds fuel remotely through a fuel line

Trying to keep up with JUST O&R is a real pain! This just so happened to be the closest box on the shelf but have been intending to get to this one. I have the correct recoil cover with the label and the chrome could use some cleaning. I'll dis-assemble the entire engine and unit to clean and freshen everything up.
These are cool little insecticide spraying fans from across the pond.

Just some final pics before it goes back out to the shed.
This one is pretty much all done too except for the little rubber feet. Just need to pick up the hardware and attach them.

Some of them have the "Petro" name removed from the handle, a Japanese re-brand (Shingu) found it's way back to the US here.

CNew got a reaction from Fishnuts2 in Ohlsson & Rice: Little Wonder Trimmer Gas Tank Vent
Just had a really nice visit with an engineer buddy of mine from MN and he dropped off the 3D printed vent for the Little Wonder Trimmer. This is awesome!

Will I finely got new inspiration to get going on this project . Now from the looks of it we can put it back together with the proper cover and fuel tank.
( I was told sometimes a blind squall finds a nut) So no we can get this going with a little help from a friend .
Got the crankcase back together and stated cleaning up some parts.
OH BY THE WAY THANK YOU IN ADVANCE CLINT

CNew got a reaction from factory in Ohlsson & Rice: Orline Water Pump
Thought I would add a little distraction from the chainsaw feud...
Here’s the latest addition, a nice Orline water pump. Needs a full clean up but I don’t think it’s been used much, if at all.

Are you stating the word "squish" isn't the right term?

CNew reacted to Fix'em all in Chug-a -saw (sold)
I was looking at another chainsaw & also came across this Chug -a Saw which I believe is Ohlson & Rice & looks in good order. If I was able to get this too (& he has already had a decent offer on it,) is it of interest. This is in the UK

CNew reacted to factory in Windy today on the southcoast
Had to dry out a couple of my O&R engines and some Tarpen tools on Sunday, the horizontal rain somehow got in under the lead flashing on the flat roof part of the shed.

Well....David, that is amazing! I am away from at the moment but have removed the tank and will measure it as soon as I get back and let you know directly. Re the pump, mine is almost brass coloured but I have only paid scant attention to it in the initial clean so I am more than likely completely off base. Will be back to you in a few days. Cheers and thanks to you all Rich. PS have come up with a small potential modification to allow me to use engine to power one of my Honda’s....

CNew reacted to factory in Electro Flow Pump
There is also one of these in my collection, but it's escaped the camera till now.
Mine is the 1HP version, the carb and aluminium cylinder plates were missing when I bought it.
I would have thought the original owner of the pump would have chosen the pipes/primer for their intended use when new.

CNew reacted to usedtoolman in O&R Pumps
Here are six different O&R pumps. I don't know how many different ones were produced though I have seen at least 2 more.
The blue one has no nameplate. Going clockwise from there they are a Keene Engineering, a Cenatron, a Kenco, a Comet and an ElectroFlow.
I never cease to be amazed by how many different companies used these little engines.
