Hello guys this tractor was used by the RAF about  1941 at Charterhall air base in Berwickshire and was used to plough up the runway sides to grow food during the Dig For Victory  Campiagn  the base was abandoned in 1945 and was then used for racing formula 1 cars the Trusty came to stay at Carnoustie with a new owner wing Commander smith who  used it in his large garden thanks for the nice comments

  2. :D Hi all some thing you dont see every day a 1969 Gutbrod 1030 special lovely known as Kermit powered by a villiers c45 engine ( plenty grunt ) this came from the Fife Ploo Mans collection and will be used for working days ploughing matches etc in 2015 hope you like it it will fit in my collection of the unusual tractors quite nicely thanks to George for it i promise to love and cherise it always

  3. Having a clear out in my workshop and found a new pair of mg engine big end shells as sold to me by Keith Jarret these are no use to me and if any one is interested they are available for the price of the postage say hi if you are interested

Hi Wallfish  It is Crawley 75 6 hp Petter Diesel PC1Engine 4 Foward 1 reverse Gearbox  from what info I have found they were based on an American Tractor called a David 75 100 units were built in sussex by Crawley Metal productions before production was transfered to to Holland some Tractors had a JAP 5 Petrol Engine  but most were diesel some people say they were all built in Holland and exported here and modified to suit market garden type work in the UK  I dont really know maybe  more info may come to light as time goes by I know they used modified trusty tractor ploughs on the back of the lift frame and also had a toolframe as well thanks guy for all the good comments  frae the the scottish rolloman 


  5. :P Santa has been very busy in Scotland he must have a HGV Sleigh he also brought this for me I am delighted as I have now got the three Models that Rollo Company made came with Plough ,Toolframe ,and Camebridge Rolls hope you like it I love it its a real solid built machine and will see plenty of action in 2015 thanks frae the rolloman

  6. Good evening all no its not a  John Deere it is indeed a Crawley 75 purchased on that well known auction site needs some love and care originally blue seems to be the correct colour scheme engine is a Petter pc1 6 hp will run soon needs a service first
