Nice Bonser truck

Nice to see plant starting to turn up at shows, got to admit at first glance it looked like a converted forklift.

I was thinking based around a fork lift too.

Froggat show today, a small local show. Including an unusual small Whetherhill loader, never seen one this small.

That is nice, any chance of a picture with something else to get an idea of size?

Yes I will try, I usually use ebay to value things but I dont think many of these will have been sold on ebay

Yes I would imagine it to be rare, most would have got scrapped years ago.

Getting on a bit then, I guess its not worth trying to charge it 

A couple of pictures of an old battery I've had hanging about for years, I guess it would have been one of a bank of batteries, anyone any idea of an age for it ?

I do like the little Massey's, I was bought up on a farm that had 3 MF135's and they remind me of them

Yes it makes you think about the saying  "they don't make them like they used to" its a wonder any survived looking at the reliability of them.

$120 = £187. Someone may pay that, but not me.

It was me being stupid  the engine runs in reverse to what I thought, "stupid boy"

Hi, I thought I would fire up my Wheel Horse Raider 12 for the 1st time in about 18 months but I have a problem, the starter is turning backwards, it was alright when parked it up and I haven't touched any of the wiring, also the battery hasn't reversed polarity, how can this happen, as far as I remember it is negative earth isn't it ? Any ideas please, or have I done something stupid

Dear Sten, You said you replaced the carb diaphram, could you tell me where you obtained it and if you know where a new carb (or engine) could be obtained? I supose that a new grassbox would be out of the question! Has anyone made up a working grassbox for this lovely old machine. I was told that Briggs and Stratton make an engine now that could be fitted to the side drive box but have been unable to get its part number, please help...

sten, that photo is identical tot he 18" deck we had.

And here is the engine on its 10" deck.

Flanges look like the unidentified mower, and so do the wheels.
