Thanks Chris. I've just found loads of info on RS, for these and the rear axle bracket. I think somewhere I've got some VW cam belt tensioning pulleys which will perhaps do for the flat pulley? I also bought a Cambridge roll at the sale, full size rings but only about a metre wide.

Hi gents, & ladies. I bought a Wheelhorse rotavator at the vintage sale yesterday, minus the idler pulley setup that I think attaches to the mid mount. This shouldn't be too much trouble to fabricate. What I could do with is some dimensions, diameter of pulleys, centre distances between pulleys and pivot etc. This will go on my C121. If anyone has one they could measure, their assistance would be much appreciated. Doug.

Same here Norm, I keep wondering how well would it work if I mounted it on my homemade roller for the paddocks ?

I bid on a milling cutter from overseas. I won the item for, either 1p or 99p I can't remember, The postage was listed around £15.00. The invoice arrived with the postage at £30 odd. My max bid was for £15.00, so I wasn't too bothered. When I tried to pay, the system wouldn't let me, saying seller had not given any postage details. I requested an invoice from the seller, no reply, still could not pay. I then received notification of an unpaid invoice claim against me. eBay said they could do nothing until the claim time period had expired, then I could dispute the claim. They checked the auction details and said the postage increase infringed eBay rules. When the time period expired I disputed the claim, which was then removed from my account records. All through the claim period I kept trying to pay the invoice reminders the seller kept sending, but the system wouldn't let me. At least I didn't lose any money, they wouldn't take it!

By mistake, in my last post I showed the 2 seater training version of the Camel (hence the two humps)🐫. Here is the single seat fighter version 🐪.

Used for drilling all the tiny holes for the needle to pass through when stitching the linen covering over the wings and fuselage of Sopwith Camels 🐫

I've got a couple of 10" tri-ribs to go on the front of mine to level it up, when I get around to it.🚜

A couple of quick photos Norm, 35kg's, to fit, they only need a couple of mm shaving off the diameter, the bolt holes fall just about in the middle of the outer section.

Veeeeery nice Norm, I'm going to have to do the same with mine now! You'll notice the increased height when driving, especially i you've raised the fender for clearance. If you're thinking of wheel weights, Aldi have been selling some nice cast iron 10kg ones that fit nicely inside the wheels after shaving a couple of mill off the rim.

I remember going out as an RAC patrolman to an HC one evening in the late 70's on the A1, burning oil, running like a pig on three cylinders. Two elderly ladies in the car heading home somewhere up north, RAC rescue, not recovery membership. Engine had a holed piston, I pulled the rocker cover, rockers and pushrods on the duff cylinder, topped the oil up and away they went, on three cylinders, no smoke, running as sweet as a nut, try that on a modern engine! I seem to remember they also used to burn through the "hot spot" between the manifolds, resulting in an early example of E.G.R.

Driving my 312-8 with 10.5's feels as if I'm on a go-cart, on the C121, it feels as if I'm on top of an elephant good ground clearance, tyres / tires are on standard rims- too wide, but I bought 4 more new tyres and narrow wheels from the sale for £100.00p 5 stud wheels but pcd is 1/4" different got 2 6x12's as well

I've got them on the back of my C121, just got to put the 4.00 x 10 tri ribs on the front when I get time.

Me too, a good use for my spare BCS 603, 16 hp, dual rear wheels- - - -
