  1. Is it next weekend the Honiton Rally? Are there a lot of horticultural machinery in show? Cheers Andrew Edit: Just googled it and I see it the BH weekend. The auction look good and there appear to be some interesting items on display too.
  2. I can certainly recommend using Owatrol on your projects.
  3. Some nice looking GTs there. I like the 2 blue Bolens 600 in the line up. I have to insert this show into my diary for next year as it's in the South West.
  4. Alain, good luck with your recovery. A friend of mine had a similar operation on his eye and made a full recovery.
  5. I like the Bolens Ride a Matic in the trailer! Great photo!
  6. Alain, Nasty. Hope you make a speedy recovery. How did you do that? Cheers Andrew
  7. Good to hear that it's up and running again.
  8. My Traveller had a Marina 1275 cc engine in it and it made all the difference too. If only Morris upgraded the engines like VW Beetles it would have been a real competitor against the Beetles of that era.
  9. Excellent photos and a great write up Ian. Still thrilled about the Bolens surprise too
  10. I just got back from RPT via the pub and a slap up dinner to say thanks to Chris for organising a very relaxed and chilled out day out at Sedlescombe. Also I got a VERY PLEASANT surprise when Nigel and Ian presented me with my Bolens Ride a Matic for me to have a ride around the grounds (well actually more than one ride around!). Thanks chaps. I am certainty coming back next year for the weekend. Also great to meet up with Tom (a new Bolens convert), Simon, Norman and Ben. Again, I reiterate, a fantastic day out and one to put in your diary for 2016.
  11. Alain, That's a beefy looking Wheel Horse you got there. A nice find. Cheets
  12. That's a lovely Morris Traveller in Smoke Grey. The ash frame set it off nicely. I had a Glacier White Traveller with Cherokee Red interior and wish I never sold it.... Happily I still have my Morris LCV
  13. I can attest to the weight of the square back tiller; they are well heavy and a good bit of kit as well. Best to plough Virgin land first before using a rotavator.
  14. I will be there for the cooked breakfast!
  15. Thanks chaps for the pointers. Nigel how much are they roughly? Cheers
  16. I need to buy a battery for my Bolens 800 and 1254. Where is the best place to buy them? Ideally I would like the batteries to be the same size as they were originally as the space to house them is somewhat small. Any pointers would be gratefully received. Cheers Andrew
  17. Chris, I will be there on the Sunday. What time will the gates be open? Thanks
  18. James, I have seen it and yours Ride a Matic is in superb condition.
  19. Ian, Looking forward to seeing it in the metal next week at Sedlescombe, the tractor not the butt plug! It does look mean and lean. Andrew
  20. Yes Poisonous Ivy does grow here in the UK, particularly in the milder parts of the UK. In fact I knew of a couple of gardeners locally who pruned some ivy off the house wall without wearing protective clothing or gloves. They were off work for several days due to the blisters..... When the National Trust took over the ownership at Greenway back in 2000, the ivy was taken off and destroyed. Nasty stuff. Hope the blisters goes down soon Alain.
  21. Again, that's a solid looking LF Bolens your friend's got. I like the scraper at the back.
  22. I meant shed, not skip. Easy mistake to make!.......
  23. [quote name="Chris" post="23852" timestamp="1438282368" You did not find my loader tines did you I thought I saw them in the skip.......as they were vandalised in red paint!
