Just to clarify the problem I believed I had with the Tubes for these narrow tyres, here's a link to a previous thread on it-

    Regarding security -
I myself had 4 attempted breakins during January last .
Each attempt failed even though they were breaking the cement corrigated roof off the garage to try to get at the bike collection .
I have 3mm steel security fencing wired across under the corrigated roof and i use a wireless door sensor with a wireless pir detector , they run to the house alarm which is zoned so that at night when activated the garage and a pir in the garden covering the entrance are live .
These do not sound an alarm , they dial my mobile which wakes me .
Handy when i am away as well as i get the call - hang up and phone the neighbour to get them to take a look .
And best of all the system with 7 pir's and 5 door units was less then £60 off the well known auction site ,
This was 6 years ago , and they are still available today at under £60 with a built in mobile phone dialer now as well that uses it's own sim card .
But for a cheap option ( i used this for years before the wireless security system was installed ) A std 230v pir security light can have power wires run out from the bulb terminals so when illuminated the wires feed a socket with a 9v games adaptor pluged in .( multi meter required to determine the live and return )
The 9v can power a wireless door bell push switch with the push contacts soldered across .In effect having it turned on waiting for power .
This instantly sends the ring signal to the interior bell sounder every time the light is activated .
So again you can be in bed and the bell ringing will wake you to alert of any intruders .
Though cats are a problem , especially around the full moon ? but it's worth it .

This is unfathomable to me. I leave my tractors and garage open every day all day, even when I'm not home, I have never even had a key for my house in 20 years. People do not come up on peoples land around here, if they do, they know they may be on a missing persons list that no one looks at.

I have but the size does not work that well for our size tractors, hence making the new store 9' wide rather than the 8' of the container. Having said that I will probably be gettng a couple of containers for something else. No saying they wouldn't work just not ideally dimensions

Andrew, I think I have lost that '62 Ride-a-matic to tractor boy.

Thanks Alain, love all my tractors no matter the colour or make

Security is always a big concern of mine and part of the reason for the move around. None of the tractors in the pictures will end up in the new store. I am planning to move my parts tractors from a secure store to this one and then move good tractors to the secure store. Even though the new store is insecure I have a very bad habit of leaving large lumps of steel and wood in dangerous places and anyone breaking in would be very lucky not to get hurt. I should point out that I have not created traps because that would be illegal, I just have lots of dangerous stuff laying around.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions.

I had planned to build a new workshop and as such I was not too concerned about my workshop space being used for storage. A new workshop is not on the cards for a while now and my current workshop is so full I can't actually do anything. As such I decided to build a temporary tractor store and have a complete move around, which hopefully will give me my workshop back and put everything in a logical place. It will take a while!

This the new temporary store which is 20x9ish foot

Today I emptied my workshop so I could get to the tractor stand at the back

I then moved the tractors down and out before dismantling the stand

The stand will be modified and reassembled in the new temporary store. With some of the tractors outside it gave the opportunity for a tractor line up (complete with my helpers)

I started to run out of time so all the equipment got hurried back into the workshop. Tomorrows job try and get everything back in the workshop and start modifying the tractor stand. Time for a beer or two now

If anyone is interested in the way this progresses I will update as things move on.  Progress will be slow.

I like the self levelling bucket, not something you normally see on a small loader. I hope you can find a replacement fender, I guess the US version of the auction site is a good place to look.

Is it such a good idea to publicise that valuable kit may now be housed in less secure premises? Not everyone watching the forum may have honourable intentions.

Keep us posted on the workshop move; the temporary rigged up storage looks to be robust enough to withstand the weather over the winter months.

Unusual fenders by the look of it. Look like a two gone job in either red/white or yellow/white depending on the model.

Most of yesterday was spent filming this, that and the other but I did find time to start cleaning the rear axle/swing arm...
Here's just a small amount of the 14 year old mud that was stuck between the diff and the diff guard!

The mess that was the inside of the diff guard..   Me thinks it maybe past it's best!

The bolts holding the diff guard in place were very chewed up and no sockets or spanners would shift them....   Sometimes ye olde tools work best though

A few parts arrived yesterday... Two upper ball joints, one lower and new swing arm bearings...   Struggling to find a second lower ball joint though!

This is my most recent new toy, a gravely tractor with loader. I am very pleased with it as everything works and it is a strong tractor. Unfortunately the rear fender is missing and some has attacked the unit with red oxide. My plan is to restore it eventually and put some better tyres on the rear for traction. Here are a few pictures. Harry

I have a Wheelhorse electro 12 that I recently bought. It does turn over but there is no spark, to me the wiring looks a bit dodgy. I will try and fix it before I sell it but someone can buy it as is. Comes with deck and the original hydraulic lift and chrome hub caps. Nice original condition with seat as well, I think the deck however has been replaced. I will post pictures up later of it. As for the price I am not really sure yet so make me an offer if you want it.
