Joseph got a reaction from HeadExam in Wheelhorse Southern Round-Up
We can't make RPT next year but Biddington would be good. If we can get it sorted in time we may be able to bring a D160 and/or D200. A few Bolens too of cause

Some of you Wheelhorse owners will remember i did a couple of round-ups back in 2012 /13 at Ardingly and had a lot of support.
Sadly the vintage show wound up and we've been having them in North Yorkshire that Mark ( Meadowfield) has been organising.
Ive been asked by several owners to do another round-up in the south so us southern boys can get together and show off our tractors.
Ive been looking for a suitable site and have decided to have it at Biddenden Tractorfest, its a lovely flat site with loads of room and a working area.
It will be held on August 19 / 20  so if i could have a show of hands to see if anyone's interested it would be great.
I know there's a lot of Wheelhorse's in the south so here's your chance to show them off and make history!!!

Finished the driveway weed removal and gravel redistribution. Wow, that's a long driveway. Most of the weed removal was accomplished by hand and hoe, glad to finally get some seat time on the D160

Whoa, slow down Alan, maybe Joseph would like to acquire his "own" machines. By learning from dad he may have a leg up on all of us.

Joseph.  If your dad gives you some of his tractors he will have room to store the next lot he buys.  Bet he hasn't thought of that.

I spotted this little gem on Gumtree it few weeks back. It looks complete but it has not been ran for some two years. I spoke to the seller and a deal was struck. He was well chuffed that it was going to a collector and that sealed the deal. It had a new clutch on it a few years back and the seller repainted the bonnet. It need a new tyre on the front apparently. A mate of his will be delivering it to me from Scotland to Devon for an amazing £100 on one of his regular sorties into England.
Here are some photos of it and it nice to see the centre cap on the steering wheel.
Just heard from the seller that the cheque cleared and that it will be delivered sometime tomorrow evening. He also said that he put some fuel in and it fired up but was a wee bit smoky. Not bad after being laid up for 2 years. Looking forward to seeing it in the metal as it were. .

The 1962 RAM has been on my list for a long, long time, but I have never found one in good order. As most know I'm a collector of later garden tractors, but this one calls to be. Iain, I believe your wife maybe fairly proud (and surprised) of you lasting until October, even if she would not say so. Had you not came up a little short on your promise, she would have not been able to make her handbag purchase. I am fairly sure she was the one that was getting worried that you would make it and that handbag would slip by. The '62 is beautiful, nice to see the original lift back on it.

Quick update. I looked inside the tank and the scum and floating rusty participles was noticeable. I have shaken it a few times in the last 24 hours and tomorrow I think I might put the tank in the back of the pickup as I got a good 45 minutes drive tomorrow there and back. Might help remove even more filth.

On my way back I popped into our local John Deere supplier to buy the Stihl Evo 2 stroke fuel for my hedge trimmer when I spotted a sale on for 5 L  containers of unleaded petrol produced by Viking (part of the Stihl Group). My intention is to over winter my running Bolens with this fuel to reduce 'gumming up' the fuel system and for ease of starting after being laid up. I have used its 2 stroke equivalent for a number of years with no problems. I bought 2 containers at a bargain price for £11.90 plus VAT each.
