Colt Tractors probably, the machines were said to be made by Colt Tractors and marketed by Martin Markham. :)

Ok, but so,e have a number on, is that for the deluxe model. Is there any way I can date it?

  2. I have just bought another tractor to add to the fleet. It is a Martin Markham Colt tractor with the optional pto and hydraulic lift included. I have the original cultivator and plough to go with it as well. The previous owner had had it from new so is one owner! He also said he had probably done less than 50hours work which is remarkable, it has the original rear tyres and they look brand new. The only problem it has really is the hydraulic lift will not lower once it is up.

i would upload pictures but I can seem to upload them.

Chris told me a while back Harry!

You got it for a fantastic price too soi hear.

Correct, I thought it was a good price for a bit of TV history, have now found out that it is Citroen 2cv engine in it.

  4. So, I managed to get the engine going today with some help from Chris. Cleaned the difficult to reach points and away she went. The engine runs very well, however the recoil is broken and it also needs an air filter assembly. It is a 130905 model, I have had a look online but can't really find anything in the UK

    Thanks

  5. I picked this up recently. I think it is a simplicity serf 525. It is a very small tractor and looks quite cool. I'm not sure but I think it is 1969 and I think it has the original engine. Any help on identification would be appreciated. I will prob give it a light restoration some time as shouldn't take to long.
