moogie got a reaction from Stormin in RC Truck
Here are a few i have made in the past for my self and customers.
Mercedes 1850L modified in to a 4x4 army style truck with home made transfer box.
Volvo FH12
Another Volvo FH12
I like these Mercedes, this one had a second steering axle fitted and a scratch built dump bed made.
This is the first truck i ever made for a customer. Volvo and fridge unit.
My own Peterbuilt with working lights and sound. Total price with box trailer, around £1000.
Last one. This is a bit of a work in progress.
Scania bull nose, being made into a heavy haulage truck. You cant buy one of these, this has been built from a Tamiya kit to get the chassis, resin body kit from Germany and the rest made by me.

Got the rims back from the blasters today, much easier than trying to clean them up with sand paper and only cost £20.
A quick dust down, knock a couple of dents out of the edge of the rim and a spot of primer to stop any rust from appearing. If it stops raining i might even get a coat or two of paint on them over the weekend.

moogie got a reaction from Triumph66 in Todays project.
Im fed up running up and down to the local tyre company , so made my own tyre changer.
All made from scrap lying around my workshop.
The bead breaker works great.
Pull bar was made from a bit of 3/4 sprung steel and the ball end is the lower part of a Borg warner gear stick.
