nothing like good ramps and a wench. lol I used to ride them up, but with an implement and my 200 lbs, that's nearly half a tonne. most ramps aren't rated for that much weight. I walk along them while they SLOWLY inch up. Hydrostatic drives make it easiet.

you cant beat a good wench lol

Nice project you have acquired there!. Seen these before somewhere. I believe your  model is a YR60?. Is the Wisconsin 2 cylinder and hydrostatic drive?.

Would like to get my hands on a 'Wiso' one day.

hi i have a very nice wisconsin tjd 18hp twin if you are intrested

  3. hi if its an inertia starter the cog may be stuck on the starter shaft  spray the cog with wd40 and try tapping the starter with a hammer as you turn it over failing that pull the starter and see if you can free the  cog

You might think about opening a you tube account then your videos would play automatically and wouldn't have a 10-15 min download time. Nigel has a awesome one as do many others here, its not too hard.

i have youtube but never uploadedthere

I've had both models, and both drove the transmission off the flywheel side, while earlier tube frames and large frames powered the transmission off the PTO side. Not saying one is better, just different. I noticed you have the same issue I have, the current battery is too big for the plastic hold down.

i prefer the Hydro much nicer to use and i like the sound of the kohler twin not sure if its the correct battery hold down

Actually the QT16 was a 16hp Onan Twin cylinder and the QS16 was the 16 hp Kohler single cylinder, the Q stood for Quiet model or Quiet line and the T and S stood for twin or single. The QT series and XL series Medium Frame tractors had the engine oriented 180 degrees differently than the earlier Bolens tractors.
