stationary engine tractor
-
Found this and wandered if you've seen it
-
Had a day out today, the first stop was Ardingly autojumble, had a walk round and a bacon sarny but nothing took my fancy,
so back in the car and off to a Stationary engine bring and buy sale which was on the way home, walked up the line up and found this Scarifier. the owner said he had only used it once and I had a deal at £20, result just goes to show you never know what turns up

Wasn't shopping Mark, I was moving Ian in to the new shop and Nigel forced me to buy em
I didn't take much forcing , I think they will look cool on the back of my 400 with the blade on the front
-
I was lucky enough to be offered these the other day, they are 12 inch early narrow type wheels, the primer ones are Wheelhorse and the outer ones have 4 stud holes which I will weld up and re drill, depending which way round the inner wheels go, touching or with a gap
-
That's a good plug Paul, well done and thanks
-
Good vid, hope you didn't scratch the paintwork
-
Hi and welcome James, always nice to have another Wheelhorse owner aboard
-
Is that for use without a gasket Norm ? the sump spose to be a machine fit but it don't
The Duff-torq hydro is full of oil , so has to be a good seal !!
-
Nice to see a Wheelhorse in there too, good photos mate
-
Yeh it sure is James, I used some Volvo joint sealant that I had in my toolbox, wondered if its gone off and hasn't set
What sealant do you guys use ??
-
Just noticed its leaking again will have to pull it out again.
gonna try and make a gasket this time,
at least I know how it works this time
-
You wont find any trannys,,,,,ive got them all
-
Didn't do any photos James, my camera wont work in the shed , waiting for a new one to turn up
-
If its got a V8 in it, i'll have it
-
Got home tonight after a day on the road and rushed out to the shed and looked underneath, no oil leaks
-
Taken shape Nigel, have to have a drive of it tomorrow
After you've made the coffee !!
-
That's a good deal Norm, you gotta be pleased with that
-
Looks a real mess Ian, we'll soon sort that out tomorrow
-
If we get any snow Charlie, my set up will be extra logs stacked in doors, and my big cup
-
Had a bit of spare time this afternoon so I refilled the tranny up with oil after i found the bleed screw to let the oil in, fired her up and surprise surprise it works.
took a while to get going and purge the air out, but seems ok, well it goes backwards and forwards.
next job to put the wheels back on and test it outside. (makes my eyes water with it running it in the shed)
-
