Now ive got the Bolens running i want to put it to work so the first job is to make a rear hitch.
hunting round in the shed for suitable material i came across a camshaft locking kit for an Audi A 6 so being that I won't be doing anymore of those i cut it up.

Had a good day, the van unloaded, logs all split and under cover in the store and all the 4x2 sawn up and stacked ready to go in the wood burner

Just an update on the Roundup, we have 12 Wheelhorse's coming plus 3 very special ones that have not yet been seen before on the English rally field.
Dont forget all makes of Horticultural machinery are welcome at the show with the addition of the Roundup that will have their own exhibiting area.

All the exhibitors who attended the 2016 show should have their entry forms now for this years show.
All Horticultural exhibits welcome, there will be arena displays and a working area to use.

Might take it to RPT but I've got to make some hitches for it so i can fit a plough ect, Tractorfest will have to be Wheelhorse because of the roundup I'm doing

Job to tell Andrew, ive only been doodling today at a garden centre but I'm very pleased with it

Yes it is Chris, had my first drive round today. Runs nice and gears and brake work, has a screeching noise sometimes when i let the clutch up I think its a belt or rusty pulley but it has been standing for a while

Spent a lovely day at a garden centre displaying the Bolens today.
It started straight away and was driven to the display area, here's the photos

Spent a bit of time on the engine today, Cowling primered and painted, points and new condenser fitted, flywheel fitted, coil refitted.
Its all back together and had it running for nearly an hour and pleased it runs so well.
I will do some PHOTO's for you tomorrow when I get it out of the van

Had a spare couple of hours today so I stripped the front of the engine and flywheel, removed the coil, condenser and points.
Points look good so they had a good clean then I went over the mower centre to get coil and condenser checked on jonathans machine, the coil came up good but the condenser came up duff.
happy to pay a fiver instead of 55 quid.
Hope to get it back together sometime this week
