the showman reacted to Ian in Project "Why Not"
It's good to know I'm not the only one who does these daft things
I need to do a few tweaks but the steering is now sorted... It even steers the right direction

the showman got a reaction from Ian in Been Wheelhorse Picking Again
Pulled all the box apart this morning and its not good, just about all the bearings are shot and knowing the availability of them i think its a junker.
Had a look through my stock and found another 3 speed that feels good apart from the attachment pin seized in, Ive had these before and the only way is to cut it off level with the box and drill it out, its to big to fit in the pillar drill so spent the rest of the day abuseing my hand held drill, it's 3/4 rod so the drill got pretty hot, anyway got it out.
Here's a couple of photos

the showman reacted to meadowfield in Kohler M16S rebuild
Been a busy week, managed an hour though...
Rebuilt the starter, though I think it's brand new anyway - so it just needed a blow through with the air line.
Cleaned up the fuel pump, and rebuilt and cleaned the breather which was full of silicon!!! morons, a gasket costs a few quid and it was full of bathroom silicon!!!!
Before I strip the cowl as it's got hammer rash, that's why it has a new starter... I took the liberty of making out a very vague serial number and printing a few new decals.

the showman reacted to Stormin in HVC Ploughing Match. 2015.
Today has been the Hethersgill Vintage Club annual ploughing match. The weather was ideal, with sunshine all day, though a cold frosty start, I was there in my usual capacity of, gateman, entrants and spectator vehicle parking and chief dogs body. I did get chance to take some photo's.
And the real stars.
