the showman got a reaction from Lauber1 in Toro Professional 70, The Sequel
As you all know I bought one of these on Wednesday without the 2 front mowers, looking on "you know where" up pops another one with all the mowers and no engine , well why have one when I can have two. It was too wide to fit in the van so had to drag it in sideways so getting it out might be fun.
but in the mean time here's some photos

The posty brought gifts this week. A new seat, battery and some led running lights. In between showers managed to get a bit more done...
Firstly mounting my new seat, a kab p2 which is the same as the original raider had. The seat holes and spring holes don't match so the base has two new brackets made up.
Then some light brackets on the front fenders
And with running light fitted
View from the new seat
Finally new pin for the handbrake turned down and a teeny bit cut out of the fender so the handbrake clears.
And not forgetting finally getting some primer on the hood and seat base before a quick stick together pic.

Thanks Andrew, it was a shack decorating pressie from Ben
Hi Iain, yep getting organized now though I've not found enough space for everything to have a home yet.. Some stuff may have to stay boxed up for a little while longer.
I'm going to try and keep the new place tidy.. It's so nice to be able to get around the big bench without having to move or climb over stuff as it was in the old shack..
Well chaps, a couple of big milestones were passed today.. The first being I finally wired in my little radio to some big speakers via and old stereo thingy so now I no longer have to listen to tinny sounding rock music from the DAB radios little speaker and I now have the sound power to drown out Nigel's singing
The second milestone we shall get to in a bit..
The workshop is now about 85% done.. Ok, I still need to bolt the lathe motor and pulley down..
An organized bench..
Quite possibly the tidiest and cleanest this big bench will ever look.. It's nice to have the bench space to bolt my sheet metal folder on to
And as the big project bench was looking tidy I thought I'd take a few photo's of it as well
And the second big milestone?? Well with the workshop being 85% done it means it's done enough to be operational.. (The remaining 15% will be done as it's needed)..
So the only thing to do was to have an opening ceremony, for which the local royalty was called in to do the honors...
It gives me great pleasure to introduce the Mayor of Mower Land
"I pronounce this workshop open"!!

Had a run up to expeatfarmers today, to have a look at his latest toy he's been working on. Still work to be done hydraulic wise but runs nice.

Been out most of the weekend, but managed to finish the handbrake. Pretty pleased with yet another reuse of a wheel horse part and it works perfectly
Here it is off

the showman reacted to diggerjames in Fitting Hydraulics to Wheel horse C121
Amongst many of my other projects I've been working with Sam and Nathan we have been looking at fitting hydraulics to the C121 , trying to think what will have a vee belt pulley on etc and knowing we're not going to need vasts amounts of pressure for what we're needing ( eventually it's going to be used for a three point hitch ) etc , so I've sourced a power steering pump off an old range rover 3.5 v8 engine . Which should be more than upto the job hopefully anyway , I've also gonna use if it has enough capacity a land rover pas resovoir, in order to mount the pas pump we had to dispense with the original exhaust to allow for room for the pump , here is what we have done so far !

Helping Ian move workshop and home over the past few weeks I finished up having the old wood store and contents.
here's a couple of photos of it in its new location, had to make it 5 inch's narrower to fit in the slot I had, its now sporting a door and fresh coat of creosote

And he left without a trace! Just like aliens came and beamed him away.
Pretty cool of you to think about a nappy spot in the new shop.

Hopefully next week mate
Thanks Iain, the house move is nearly there now. We should get this place straight by the end of the weekend..
Thanks Doug.. The armchair is very much needed though.. When I'm shattered and had enough I can't just walk across the garden to the house now, so I need the armchair to relax in while waiting for my wife to pick me up in the evenings..
And then it was gone!!!
