once the skip was of i just had to have another drive round   before i backed it up the drive, the first photo shows where i think the seat will fit, the next shows my daughter trying out leg room, next engine cover off and the last shows the gearstick sticking out the front.
all this was done on the same day august 8th 2009

This project was something I had in my head for a while. Being a lover of Wheelhorse's and tracked vehicles having driven diggers and alike for years, I looked at a few MG's but didn't like the metal tracks
One day a friend gave me a Wheelhorse A 90, it came from a school and had a seized engine and had been partly dismantled to stop the children playing with it, this started me thinking, all I had to do was find something on rubber tracks, narrow enough to go through a garden gate and have forward and reverse gears rather than hydromatic.

Dooo! You figured out my secret!   I have been known to use it to speed the process up a little.  That heater puts out 175,000 BTU's of heat, but it drinks diesel fast than an 8v71 Detroit!

Its a Toro Groundsmaster with a mitsubishi K3D diesel. There is a thread on it here in the ride on"s section.   http://myoldmachine.com/topic/333-toro-groundsmaster/

I met Kate at the Wheelhorse show in 08 and had lunch with her and Charlotte (Brandon's wife) the mag was then called Lawn and Garden Collector Magazine. In March/April 09 I was lucky enough to be Featured Collector and have 3 pages of photos and words

I'am not to sure to use a rear fender and like the look of the fender kit used on the RJ's which I bought on one of my trips to the Wheelhorse show in PA. a bit of bodywork looks very useable, pick a gas tank, and cut the upstand the last photo of the front axle parts but you'll have to wait until tomorrow for the answer

This build is one I did a while ago, but for those who hav'nt seen it I thought I would share it with you. We often say we have enough parts to build another one so here we go. as you can see I started with the chassis but all the old ones have a lot of holes in so I decided to make a new one, out with chop saw and stick welder , next was a transmission.

Here's a photo of a project that i built a few years ago. it was  something i've always wanted to do and the idea was to test it then paint it but ive had so much fun it never got done. this year i intend to strip and paint it before the rally season starts.
