diggerjames 543 #227 Posted January 30, 2016 Hi all had a chance to give the 4x6 an airing whilst Nathan my brother backed in his new project a 110 Land Rover I must say it drives nice with the power steering but I'm having issues with the drive administration the chain keeps coming off so I'm gonna try a different sprockets and chain here is a quick video 4 pmackellow, Triumph66, Stormin and 1 other reacted to this

diggerjames 543 #235 Posted February 6, 2016 Hi all as I mentioned earlier I kept having chain issues with the rear drive so i ordered new pilot bore sprockets Similar to What Mark used in fact I have copied his very clever idea on mounting them ( I asked him first if I could copy him ) any way now that my lathe is up and running I bored out the brake drums and the sprockets here's is what I have done 5 pmackellow, the showman, nigel and 2 others reacted to this

diggerjames 543 #239 Posted February 19, 2016 Hi all a bit of a major update on the project , I've always admired Mark ( meadowfield) c 4x4 and how he did the drive etc any way a couple of weeks ago I managed to get an axle the same as marks what he used I was gonna use it for another project but I thought why not make the 4x6 into a 6x6 so I sat and thought about it after all the work I put into making the steering etc work any way I bit the bull it and using marks thread as a guide I decided to offer up the axle here is what I've done so far!! 6 Ian, Stormin, C-101plowerpower and 3 others reacted to this

diggerjames 543 #245 Posted February 20, 2016 Hi all a quick update I've now fitted the new chain which seems to be a lot better in quite impressed with it , and I've tested the new steering which also works quite well I do however need to make a few adjustments to the steering bracket which fastens to the axle ! Here's a quick video Since fitting the new axle it has picked up the front end up thus lifting the middle axle and making the middle axle air Bourne so I have now got to split the tractor and re drill the axle mounting plate to level up the tractor 1 nigel reacted to this
