Chris 642 #101 Posted August 19, 2015 I nearly took the tractor home but I don't think Phil or the boss lady would have been impressed. I have found Phil a good set of 2nd hand rear tyres for it now which is a start
Alan 1,273 #102 Posted August 19, 2015 The B450 when it was a bit younger. About 43 years younger. Copied from a partly faded photo. My son, having a drive is now coming up to 50. John's land was a lot tidier then. Can't remember where exactly we had been to collect this load, but everything apart from the two wheel trailer has recently gone to pastures new. Both trailers were loaded with goodie's. 6 Triumph66, Phyliss, the showman and 3 others reacted to this

Also thank you to Alan & John for assisting with making a path for removal from the barn. I'm looking forward to getting both the tractors sorted and out & about. . Certainly beats repairing mowers & stripping jet engines; just doesn't pay the bills

the showman 4,074 #111 Posted September 8, 2015 Had another exciting day with John and Alan, found a few small bits in an old caravan also a 56lb weight for the front of my ploughing tractor but the biggest surprize was 4 new tri-rib tyres in the barn that ide been in dozens of time's and missed them and they were right in front of me 2 pmackellow and Triumph66 reacted to this

Stormin 4,458 #113 Posted September 9, 2015 Well done. Those tyres are a really good find. Those the drums and back plates of those wheels?
Alan 1,273 #114 Posted September 9, 2015 Chris is like a sniffer dog on heat. God only knows what he'd find if we let him off his lease. I, and other visitors, had also been in the area where the tires were found countless times without spotting them. He also found part of a Uni-Horse tractor which was sold a while ago buried under a pile of old window frames in the middle of John's lawn ( for want of a better description ). John has a very strange storage system. Also found was another peace offering for Pam. He needs to bring his Track Horse with dozer blade on his next visit. Plenty of undergrowth to clear which could be hiding even more goodie's. Thanks again for the help Chris. 2 Stormin and C-101plowerpower reacted to this
the showman 4,074 #115 Posted September 9, 2015 I'm sure John has a secret hidy hole and when we aren't looking he sneaks little jewels into the shed for us to find to keep us on our toes and see the expression on our faces.I was amazed to find the unihorse cover in the most unlikely place, just goes to show we have to keep looking 2 Triumph66 and Alan reacted to this

Alan 1,273 #120 Posted September 11, 2015 Another heavy lump on it's way to a new home. The second Colchester lathe being moved from John's shed. This move went very smoothly and a lot quicker than expected with a bit of forward planning. A few rollers, a hefty crowbar, a winch and it was on the trailer in no time. A few photo's of the event. Thanks again Philip. We are now getting near the end of finding new homes for John's stash as most of the major items have now gone. Still some reserved items to be collected when convenient, plus the contents of the two small caravans to be sorted. These are mainly car parts, Austin 7 /10 plus numerous other small odds and ends. 5 Triumph66, pmackellow, Stormin and 2 others reacted to this

Charlie Smith 192 #122 Posted September 13, 2015 Unless we find some more stuff in the undergrowth with the Trachorse Chris to the rescue! Clearing with the trachorse now that I'd like to see, might have to pay a visit when and if that happens oh yea if you find a pot of gold when clearing, that's mine I dropped it there last time
Alan 1,273 #123 Posted September 13, 2015 A few more items recovered from various hiding places which may, or may not, be of interest to someone. A very heavy bench drill. Will need a bit of TLC to make it operational again. Clean up, rewire etc. Approx 30" tall. Fabrex 470 saw bench. Table 16" x 11" which tilts for angled cuts. 8" blade. With untested single phase motor. A Honda generating set. Gas conversion. Engine turns freely via the pull starter. All the spec details can be seen on the photo's. More bits and pieces to be added as and when. 3 the showman, pmackellow and Triumph66 reacted to this
