moogie 372 #53 Posted December 29, 2015 While waiting for the local engineering firm to open again to get the 2mm top folded up for my bench i thought i would make a start on my work table. All the 40 mm box steel cut to length and a few bits of 19mm as well. Starting to lay out the frame for the work top. Size is 2000mm x 1100mm. As i am only using 2mm sheet for the top, the extra internal bars will be carrying the weight of the tractors. My floor isn't very level so i have had to make adjustable feet. All six legs complete and ready to be welded to the frame. Legs tacked on and lower braces welded in place. Everything fully welded and ready for the wire wheel and some primer. moogie 372 #64 Posted January 5, 2016 Made a start to my stove today. Had to have a change of plans as i couldn't get a cutting of box section big enough, needed a bit 12in or bigger. So, plan B. Had a look about to see what i could use and decided to go the gas cylinder route. After deciding on the orientation of the stove i marked out the door size, then cut down the hinge side and welded on two trailer hinges. Then cut free the remaining three sides. Found an old grate and tin pan and cut to fit. Didn't want it to sit on the floor so raised it up on 16in legs. moogie 372 #69 Posted January 10, 2016 Lit a fire in the stove to burn off the yellow paint. Finally all finished with hot plate installed. Got a shelf up and another under the work bench so i could keep the place looking tidy. A cassette deck is a type of tape machine for playing and recording audio compact cassettes. Consumer electronics formerly used the term deck to distinguish them from a tape recorder, the "deck" being part of a stereo component system, while a "tape recorder" was more portable and usually had a self-contained power amplifier (and often speakers).
