Had a few hours out in the sunshine today, so I thought I would strip the Trachorse dozer blade down and give it a clean up.

Hi All, Almost exactly a year ago i got my first garden tractor, a Wheel Horse Electro 12, fantastic machine! Everyone said they multiply and i'll get another, but I was adamant one was enough and why would i get another? Well its happened, ive bought a 1992 Wheel Horse 312-8. There was a real need for it though Ive lots of mud to shift and my brother is keen to help. Been stood in a barn for four years, half a days work cleaning out the carb and fuel lines, and doing some wiring work and the Magnum 12 purred sweetly Made a front weight quickly. And the following day went straight to work I'm very chuffed with my new toy. cheers, Daniel

Yes I like the weathered look about the old girl. Going to keep this one. I have had a lot of issues with the engine when it gets hot. After alot of head scratching it turns out it was lacking compression. So treated it to a new set of piston rings & valves My good friend Mark came down & we took the engine apart again with his valve seat cutter & we cut new seats & ground the new valves in at the weekend. It now runs better now & will tow the gangs tomorrow & find out.

That's just the sort of thing I need, a 12 volt hedge cutter.. Plug it into a Wh, cut the hedge and let all the trimmings fall in a trailer behind

Now kev has done a lot of work on sorting out the horti section and should be commended for all his hard work , any help from local members would be very welcome from the wednesday onwards as there is a lot to do ie, fences safety barriers ect to erect

Giving the old Stourpaine show a miss this year . Shame as it's very good and (usually) lucky with the weather. Enjoy it if you go.
