Picked up this unusual machine this morning. Have got the missing bits in a box. Fitted with a 2 stroke JAP 80 engine that is all ther e but has no spark (usual suspects no doubt). Made by English Powerspades Ltd who appear to have ceased trading in 1968. Looks quite well made & is certainly heavier than the Gardenmaster 85 that came with it. Made a bit of a mess of this (it skills failed again) more photos -

As the sun keeps shining and I've got an abundance of red paint i thought i would give a couple of attachments a squirt to clean them up. -
1 pointExercise caution if you split the box, they are usually held together with steel taptite self-threading screws. Steel into alloy, plus moisture and the passage of time equals seized screws and a possibility of sheared screws; at which point the law od Dr Sodt takes over.

1 pointJust had one of them didn’t have reverse when I opened it up the chain that drives reverse had snapped so I would check that Norm it might be a weak point

1 pointI might bring my discs if I got room. I am hoping to pick up my 1050 from Chris which means room will be very tight in my van. I could always leave my implement at my Mother's and pick it up later in in the year.... I just love this old lady partly because I got it from the USA and from a scrapyard too but also because it is original and such character in my opinion.

Very nice display as usual. Here are a couple of pictures of a small selection of my O&R's that I displayed at the 1000 engine rally last month, the Tarpen rotary cultivator attachment was bought from one of the stalls there. David -
