    Water cooled glow engine

Just couldn't stand seeing this sit on epay any longer and really not sure why someone didn't grab it. Price was right for one of these more rare engines with a water cooled head, glow plug conversion and the remote control carb (not sure of the manufacturer). This thing has great compression, a pretty clean pull rope and barely any residue in the exhaust manifold. It has been run but certainly not much. Think I have 2 other water cooled engines so I guess it's time to find an old school boat to power up. This one has only the top portion of the head water cooled but I like to have the recoil start anyway. The type with full head water cool can go without a flywheel and blower housing to lighten them up if preferred.

I think you have been hacking my computer I was looking at that stuff this morning. That first one would work for the cylinder gaskets but I thing the reed, induction gasket are to thin. By the way I went throw the mail tonight and low and behold Clint sent me some gasket paper This looks great for the induction gasket but the reed gasket seems a lot thinner. And with out a doubt we need to send David some . At lest he would have seen my part# screw up and would have told me about it. some experts you are I rely hope David is reading this post I think it would keep him smiling

    MF7E Refurb project

Finally worked out why my pictures wouldn't upload, stupid phone now takes photos in an unsupported format (by this website), managed to change it so here we are. new sump gasket made Once stripped down, it was time to give the whole tractor a bit of a clean up ready to put back together. The crankshaft bearings were jiggered so the engine was stripped down. Back together and already sounding better. Back on 4 wheels, i'm yet to clean the wheels up but i'll get round to it one day. There was no way I was going to put this mess of cable back on so a new wiring loom was made later on. Someone had tried to fix the coil bracket at some point so I fixed that. New idler bearing. I gave the tin work a light sand then used some wax and buffed it up, looks great and will prevent rust. Focus turned to the seat which was rusty, with some wire wool and water I managed to clean it up nicely.

    Winter Project

I’ve taken the carbs off the 2 engines to clean, also found a K141 but. That wouldn’t start either so i removed the carb to find a stuck inlet valve also found the carbs knacked. . I then went and sat indoors with a cuppa and made some gaskets,

    O&R Type 98 Engine

Not 100% certain but this engine may have gone to a Rota Shear lawn edger. I came across this website and it looks to be a similar color. I contacted the owner and asked if he would post some additional photos. Look at the additional link on this page next to the little pics where he added some really nice high resolution photos. https://flymall.org/magento/index.php/car-shows/rota-shear.html

    MF7E Refurb project

After a busy year i'm finally getting round to posting some photos, nearly a year later! so heres some photos. Steering gear after a cleanup, I like the fact you can see red paint under the yellow. This is because a MF7E is a rebranded and repainted moto mower which were red. Steering column, needed a good cleanup but been well greased so no wear. Looking better after a bit of a clean. Will try post some more photos later, having difficulty uploading them
