Both bonnets all welded up and cleaned up, I’m so pleased with them I thought they were scrap at the beginning. Big thanks to my son Steve for his help. -

Did a bit more on my barrow attachment today. Top edges rolled over and just tacked together to check panel fit. -

No I’ve found out on the Jd 70 it has a bend from the carb to the air filter which would raise it above the pedal and then the filter sticks out at An angle, so I will be cutting a lawn mower handle up tomorrow and will make a couple of flanges up -

Now they are cleaned up with the grinder they will only need a skim, if i did them they would need 2 big tins. -

1 pointThe spacers were made to approx 11/16" length, the wide washers are to prevent damage to the cover (two used per screw). I had to order more screws (#6x32 2" long) as the first ones I ordered were too short, a set of these were sent to Paul for his Aquabug restoration. David

Dave, the pipes measure 1" O.D. they are thin wall aluminum. The air intake tube is around 39" in length. The fuel tank tube is 32" long. Not sure of the radius used, I need to bring my radius gauges home from work to get exacts. -Brian -

Fix’em all, I like the look of the barrow attachment on yours. Had a quiet day at work today so I decided to start fabricating one for my Gemini. -
