  1. Collected this at the weekend, 4 speed axle. Peerless 2300 I think though numbers don't match. Interesting in that it has turning/fiddle brakes on the ends. And a very unusual pulley, brake arrangement. Anyone recognise it? Matching engine is a kohler magnum - which I might be collecting........
  2. I ought to make it up for one of the shows, can't do this one.... But keep trying and I'll make the journey
  3. As soon as I saw that, I thought Richard... Nice work!
  4. So you didn't come back with anything Paul?
  5. Ditto, if there's 24 entries, hopefully a few of em are ours!
  6. Was thinking the same Richard, I think it's not entirely original.... Rear fender, deck lift lever and guards are later c series. Hood and one front wheel look like early c series.Mountfield serial no. Dates it around 1978 I think it's like a lot a horses that have worked, a hybrid of parts that keep them running
  7. A few more goodies in the post this week, so a little lathe work. Turning out a 17t pilot bore sprocket for a 42mm bearing. Front intermediate drive assembled.
  8. Ha! This will be red... It's my dad's old norlett box Thanks Matt Coming from the master I'll take that as an uber compliment
  9. Good stuff, we'll be there around lunchtime. We usually go on the end of a row, will see who's camping and see if we can all get together - it's a big field!
  10. Sounds like we are going yo get a good turn out
  11. good work so far Ian, you are a fast worker when you are fit!
  12. :D That arrangement and fuel tank would work well on project bendy
  13. Currently at 24 entries, looking like we might break the southern record! Anyone else interested? There's a month before entries close, be good to see you all there.
  14. Nice! Not wrong with leaving ags on all the time! When are you going to share pics of the Massey digger? Mark
