  1. Hopefully on consecutive weekends again. Then you can have a week or so darn sarf.
  2. Incorrectly is the right word. Poor, misguided fools.
  3. It got hi jacked and so did the wooden hay rake.
  4. You'll be putting yours up for sale now, Andrew.
  5. First class job. I'd be afraid to use it.
  6. Saw this in the metal this weekend. Harry's done a superb job. Top marks.
  7. You made a good job of It, Harry.
  8. Not Alan's anymore, Alain.
  9. We didn't have to reposition the lugs for the lift. Chris had a good hunt through his stock of brake/clutch/lift rods and found a couple that got modified. His is the fully assembled one, the other is mine. The wear strip has yet to have the holes squared. I may not fit the rubber strip, then I may. Depends on what I using it for. They are only painted in primer and will be fully painted in the near future. I reckon we haven't done so bad in the time we had and we didn't fall out. I know one thing. I could do with a holiday.
  10. The frames were straight, but we had to alter them to get enough lift. Chris is in the process of cleaning up that one and giving it a coat of primer. I'm off to drill the square holes in the other. .
  11. Look on Alan's Sears/Roper rebuild topic, Alain. Details there.
  12. Got the frames and swivel heads done. Couple of minor hiccups but sorted now. Been trying to work out a lift rod tonight. Things a bit tight. Going to move the lift bracket on the frame in the morning.
  13. The service was good as well.
  14. We got a little bit done yesterday. Chris doing a bit of cutting and welding, while I got the boring job. Hopefully we will get things well on tomorrow.
  15. It was a good day at Johns. Good to meet Alan, a fellow Northerner from Gods end of the country, and John at last. Managed to find one or two bits the vultures had missed. If I'd had more time and Chris's van had been empty, I think there would have been more than one or two.
  16. Not yet. Negotiations will be in progress.
  17. Bloody lap top. Can someone more computer savvy get rid of the lot, please?
  18. Well done. You'll be one happy bunny.

    C-120 refurb.

Well things had a good testing at Rural Past Times. Things went OK, except I broke the latch again. This gave a problem when for traveling around. The plough was scraping on the ground. So the last hole in the clevis was used. I had to do a bit of modification to the hitch with a hacksaw borrowed off The Showman. Sometimes the plough would stay up without the latch and sometimes not. I got round that problem by keeping an eye on the plough and raising it if it started to lower. As for ploughing things went well. The plough going in enough to turn the ground over. The actuator lifted the plough out without any problem. I must say I'm quite pleased with things so far. Even with only my second attempt at trying to be a ploughman.
  20. We should start a Little and Large tribute act.
  21. Nice job. I see you used a gradely tractor to do the grading.
