Sorry, Chris. Somehow I thought the Ransome was yours.
-
Nice photo's George. Thanks for posting.
-
I currently use a rear discharge I rebuilt. The grass over here, up north anyway, tends to be wet or damp. And grows to fast. Rear discharge makes a mess of the rear under side of the tractor.
-
Only showmen, (Not Chris), ie fair ground, circus and the like can tow more than one trailer. Maybe farmers/agricultural contractors as well.
-
That's his Ransome in the line up and I think you just see the bonnet of his Bolens. Isn't that enough?
-
I'm also pleased with the way the blades have worked out. With the blade used in conjunction with the roller, they did a pretty good job. (Again see Biddenden photo's.) As Chris said, the clumps of weeds made things difficult.
I also will be doing a mod or adjustment or two. Firstly to see if I can get to use the lift lever to apply pressure, instead of my feet. When the blades down, the lever is to far away to hold.
-
Thank you Kev for all your hard work in organising it. Also Ethan, Steve, your brother and all those who helped and attended. Hope to make it next year.
-
Looks good Alain. I've just acquired a side discharge like that to do up.
-
A few photo's I managed to take.
Harryt's very nice MF.
Another of Harry's with his Serf in the back ground.
Not like that. Like that!
Anyone know this strange chap?
Just drop it at my house, lad.
Be just the job for behind a road legal garden tractor.
Not seen a Rickman for years.
The mower from the Anchor Butter add. Now in the possession of young Harryt.
-
A few photo's wot I tuk. Bit late I know, but I've been busy.
The Saturday line up.
And from the other direction.
Who said size matters.
Nice fit.
There's something about industrial trucks.
Ian's GT14 ready for doing a bit of ploughing
Ransome with trailed plough.
Andrew trying the Trojan for size. I should have got a photo of the rear view.
Contrary to popular belief, Nigel can make coffee.
That's all folks.
-
Don't know who she is, but she'd look better with her teeth in.
-
Hopefully on consecutive weekends again. Then you can have a week or so darn sarf.
-
Incorrectly is the right word. Poor, misguided fools.
-
It got hi jacked and so did the wooden hay rake.
-
You'll be putting yours up for sale now, Andrew.
-
First class job. I'd be afraid to use it.
-
Saw this in the metal this weekend. Harry's done a superb job. Top marks.
-
You made a good job of It, Harry.
-
Not Alan's anymore, Alain.
-
We didn't have to reposition the lugs for the lift. Chris had a good hunt through his stock of brake/clutch/lift rods and found a couple that got modified. His is the fully assembled one, the other is mine. The wear strip has yet to have the holes squared. I may not fit the rubber strip, then I may. Depends on what I using it for.
They are only painted in primer and will be fully painted in the near future.
I reckon we haven't done so bad in the time we had and we didn't fall out. I know one thing. I could do with a holiday.
-
The frames were straight, but we had to alter them to get enough lift. Chris is in the process of cleaning up that one and giving it a coat of primer. I'm off to drill the square holes in the other.
.
-
Look on Alan's Sears/Roper rebuild topic, Alain. Details there.
-
Got the frames and swivel heads done. Couple of minor hiccups but sorted now. Been trying to work out a lift rod tonight. Things a bit tight. Going to move the lift bracket on the frame in the morning.
-
The service was good as well.
-
We got a little bit done yesterday. Chris doing a bit of cutting and welding, while I got the boring job. Hopefully we will get things well on tomorrow.
