  1. Can't wait to see it painted.
  2. Belated birthday greetings, Tom.
  3. My first car was a brand new 1970 Vauxhall Viva saloon. I won it in a competition. I never drove it as I didn't have a car licence. Motorcycles my thing in those days. I sold the Viva and paid back my parents the money they'd loaned me toward my first house. I also bought a 1960 Reliant Regal saloon, with a 750cc side valve engine. That was to keep the first wife happy. Didn't work. So I suppose the Reliant was my first car.
  4. Fantastic! Not replace my collies though.

That looks Ok. Don't forget to take the plug out of the elbow.
  6. With a good east wind coming in off the North sea, you soon clear off back down sarf.
  7. One point to check, two to be exact, is play in the axle outer bearings. They are needle rollers, easy and cheap enough to replace, but if they disintegrate can cause a lot of trouble. The Showman and I know all about it.
  8. That looks like something from the early1900's. Maybe even home made.
  9. I've one like that. There's a thread somewhere when I did the wheel bearings.
  10. Hope you had a good day, 63? I don't believe it. You don't look a day over 58.
  11. Looking forward to seeing it a Newby. Reckon it'll cause a bit of a stir.
  12. I've had a C-125 for around 4 years I think. May be a bit longer. It's used every year, cutting the green opposite our home and the verges. The deck I did have to extensively rebuild, due to POs negligence to clean after use. Apart from oil changes and replacing the track rods and spark plug, all I've done is fit a boat primer bulb. Helps with starting if not used for a while. If your going to use it as a tractor, fit ag tyres like a tractor.
  13. Carefull Tom. Look what happened with my C-121.
  14. I've had a relaxing day. Went to the Sunday market/car boot. Didn't buy anything. Then home and out with the chainsaw and log splitter. Two Saxon trailer loads of logs done. 3pm and the tribe landed. As usual each family didn't leave empty handed. Easter eggs for the kids, kindling for the eldest and pallet boards for youngest. Son-in-law building a tree house.
  15. Stick a roll cage on and join the Four Wheel Drive Club.
