  1. I've known holes like that be brazed. A fabrication shop may do it for you. BUT! And it's a big but, wash the tank out thoroughly with water then run compressed air through it for a while. JB weld could also be an option.
  2. Nice van. Fully equipped for over nighting etc I assume?
  3. Nice! At least it's not green.
  4. I'm very sorry to hear that, Paul. Convey my good wishes to him and Pam. Hope all turns out OK. Been meaning to phone him as not spoken to him since before Christmas. Keep us updated please, Paul.
  5. For road use we have to get them registered, road taxed and insured. Same as any vehicle that is used on the road. Can be a headache if it is an old vehicle that has never been registered.
  6. That should come up well considering what you've already done with your other.
  7. Happy New year everyone. Here's to a better one.
  8. Seasons Greetings to one and All.
  9. Bit late, but All The Best, James.
  10. Barra just missed us. Stay safe.
  11. If that didn't go, try Joseph his son. He's a member.
  12. Mount a 45 gallon steel drum on it's side, just above it. Chimney into one end and an outlet one on the other. That will get heated as well.
  13. BTW. I hope your going to insulate it. Other wise freeze in the winter and cook in the summer.
  14. More on it's way tomorrow according to the forecast. From the west this time.
  15. Send Iain, slf-uk a PM. He has some Bolens and may be able to help.
  16. Pity your so far away. I'd enjoy giving it a damn good try. I'll just have to be content helping my mate over the Border in D&G.
  17. Aye! You over on the east coast really copped it. Things were pretty bad in the Lake District with power cables down, trees blocking roads and flooding.. Plesed to hear the Gloria was unscathed.
  18. Not really. But we're slowly making space. I'll just cut it up there and and leave it till I have.
  19. During the recent storm, a rather large tree was uprooted down the bridleway. Those who know me have no need to guess who'll be having it for firewood. But it's position it is in, leaning over the bridleway and against a tree on the opposite side, makes getting down on the ground a bit tricky. I do have a plan that hopefully will work. Remove as many limbs as I can, not mine I hasten to add, to reduce the weight. Then get one of the lads from the farm round the corner with the telehandler. Get that under the tree as near to the top as possible, ease it up and push it over onto the bridleway. May be a while before it can be done.
