  1. Yeah! But you keep finding something to fill the space. Sell as is, Joe.
  2. Not a problem to me. Nothing like the good old English chippy.
  3. Swmbo went to the green grocers in Wigton for some cabbage for Timothy, her beloved rabbit. "Sorry there's a shortage," the assistant said. "We have to import it as we can't grow it in this country." WHAT! Since when? Don't know what those green things I've seen in the fields and allotments are then?
  4. I agree with Alain. If it fired and ran, should be ok.

    Wheel Horse C-101

Pity your at t'other end of this Septic Isle to me, Ian. I could have helped you out with body work and carb.
  6. Don't you just love modern electrickery. Oh for the days of three fuses, no idiot lights, gadgets and gizmos.
  7. I like how you've borrowed the customer's washing line. The ground must be dry down there. Up here the wheels would have just spun.
  8. It originally had those steel spoked wheels, Andrew. Just a pea sized pebble would stop a wheel turning. I found the wheel spindles were the same size as series Land Rover front spindles. Having a complete set of hubs lying about and more wheels than enough, I thought it a good idea to fit them. I had to widen the saw bench axle to get clearance for the tyres. The SB axle is square bar with the ends turned down for the spindles. This was cut in half and tube a neat fit used to extend the axle. Welded in place of course. Draw bar from more stuff lying about and the jack came from a now defunct trailer at the farm.
  9. Toe nail trimmer? The tracked one in the first photo' looks interesting.
  10. One of the steamer men at Biddenden had a trailer that flat packed. Good idea.
  11. Nice looking tractor, Mike, and that little stack is the dogs whatsits. Proper job!
  12. He didn't manage to sell it you then, Andrew?
  13. Looks nice and tidy now. Could fancy it mesel'. But NO! I don't want to buy it before you ask Nigel.
  14. Re-fitted them today. Gave them a little test pulling the saw bench to the workshop. Before, the wheels would just dig holes in the loose stones. With the weights fitted, pulled the SB up the slope from where it resides and into the yard with no wheel slip whatsoever.

    MG6 Loader

I don't think it would take much weight to lift the back end. That loader is a long way forward.
  16. Did a bit of measuring the other day and they did stick out further than the tyres. So another mod has been done. Off with the lids and replaced with filler. Not perfect, but they'll do the job.
  17. Carol likes the first photo of the Highland cow/bull? She fancies doing a painting of it. Could you possibly e-mail me it please?
  18. It's not tigers that are a danger. Stuffed or otherwise. Its the Haggie. Especially in the mating season.
  19. We ad more than that yesterday. Temp's -5c at least. The mercury in the thermometer outside has disappeared. Southerners don't know what snow is, Neil.
