This a new scarifier that we hired to do the Mill garden cost £30 for a day ,money well spent what do you think when I cut the grass it is nearly 4 miles today I cut it scarified it and lifted it no wander I am tired today
Some more pictures of our house and ongoing project next door the old stable block and cart shed was built in 1750 and converted into part of the house in 1960
The cassies and cobbles that were taken out lay in a pile in the garden I have used them to make a path that will blend in with character of the house when the garden is finished hope you like
make it reliable rub of the flaky rust give it a good wash down and paint it with owatrol oil it will look very good and will be one of the few that have been kept original
I have started on the garden next door the cottage used to be the stables and coach house for the post office as you know we stay in the old post office house and it was built in 1730
As you can see we have made a good start the next phase can begin now that we have moved the telegraph pole out of the way hope you like

My next rally is on Sunday and the theme is pigs and potatoes I am taking George and the drill ploughs

We have now been a year in our house we have been updating the garden the old tree was rotten and could have blown down so it had to go
As it was our silver wedding anniversary we received some more plants I will be replacing the tree with two apple trees one called the bloody ploughman one called discovery more on this story later
If you are rotovatoring in earnest make a shallow pass then I usually rotovate half the width this is easier on the clutch until you get a set of hubs all the best
When I got the drill ploughs they were painted and as at the time I was not going to work them. but before I go to the rally they will be cleaned and oiled
This will look well at the rally the theme being potatoes
