Not as powerful as the Kohler.
Parts are not a fortune if you ask the right people. Shipping is the killer, but if you want it right you have to pay for it
You wont know what the engine is like until you pull it apart. They are very heavy lumps. not too bad to get out. Its the drive shaft you may have an issue with
Hi Nick,
I have not got any pics of the G14 atm. Must take some!! Tracs been dead for years & needs some love
The arms are off it also. Been off 15 years. I am missing a bucket & forks but I have some ideas on that
Join the club I want a loader for my tractor. I have 2 & a back hoe for large frame
Hi,
I got an 1886 which works . You will spoil it if you put that other engine in. I rebuilt my engine with new rings & valves & a coil. Is a beast of a mower & I love it
Bet if its been run low on oil then the crank will be shot. Its very hard to find certain parts for these twins any more unless you get 2nd hand from the US but most of them are shot as well
Chris
15 horses under there Chris
Err 7 bolens tractors in various states. This one will be oiled up.
Got a G14 with loader Which I plan to remove & fit on this as with its hydro drive will make it even more usefull
Liesa seems to like it as with the tiller I can sort her veg garden
Need to hold fire buying any more & sort what I have!!
Well this is the lastest Bolens in my fleet.
1973 Bolens 1556 c/w tiller. Runs well but a right pig to start, Hopefully with a good service & carb clean will solve it. When I get a min!!
This is my 850 which I also brought last week from fellow forum member Tom. At least its the correct colour but needs TLC.
The dyno start is missing but as Andrews engine is broken I will just use his
Ohh nice find.
Yes its a MK 1 Allen Scythe arround 1934/5. Whats the serial number??
I would just clean it up
Be careful of the wheels on hard surfaces etc
Well after my sat nav took me to the wrong side of Hampshire I got it back safe for Andrew
The con rod is smashed to pieces so requires some TLC
There is alot more blue on top of the bonnet than was shown in the pics
Another good white tractor saved by Andrew
Oh & by the way I had to save my own example of an 850 also as did not want to feel left out . Get it in the new year
Sorry not at the min. Everybody keeps asking me!!! Its tucked away at the back of the shed atm. The arms have been off it for 15 years & its not been run for this time. All thats fitted on the arms atm is a home made hook for lifting engines by previous owner!! The dung forks have been lost & you can get a bucket also.
My latest HT20 wreck has a front loader & rear digger . Its been dead for over 20 years & came from your area earlier this year
