    Like the way you spun it up Luke Take it the engine is long gone ? Theres a drive shaft to the hydrostat unit which should have a fan on it. Any single cylinder engine will do ie Honda 8hp plus is fine to power the unit. The old engine was 20hp The cooler on the front is nothing to do with the tractor, well not on mine?? where do those pipes go?? Just remember, if you get fed up with it I can give it a home

    Been working my MG40 & Howard Gem, which is the lastest purchase to the fleet over the past couple of weeks. Thanks to Iain in Norfolk, the gem now has a recoil starter on the front. It runs very well

    Well just to say we got it in the barn on Monday using a friends loader tractor. No we did not drop it, did not want any more parts falling off!

    Well I had Iain down from Norfolk on Friday who cast his expert eye over the poor thing The front loader is a Johnson unit The engine is in more of a mess than I thought it was, as I had never opened the bonnet I never got the chance to study it Yes its still on the trailer as never seem to have the chance to lift it off Iain still wants it though

    Well my name is Chris. aka Dieselhead on other forums Why?? Thats the name my mother gave me when I was born. Chris that is Dieselhead was a name a guy gave me when he posted me something & did not know my surname Still both better than Nigel & I am even more posh Sorry mate!
