  1. Some lovely looking vintage farm tractors there. Also great to see Shire Horses at work; a great sight to behold.
  2. Thanks Tom, I would use that Owatrol stuff on it to preserve it's patina. Barfords look like an interesting alternative too. By the way have you bought the Owatrol yet?
  3. Charlie, I agree, It's a little bit unusual to a Allen scythe. It does look solid and I love its patina too. I know nothing about these so that will be an interesting voyage of discovery. Be good to get some more views on this one.
  4. Chris, yes please to your Cub Cadet! I don't think Tom's deck would fit it though.......
  5. Yes it's the one on that auction site. I am tempted and I would like to buy it for a similar price to yours! It's the sickle bar that got my attention.
  6. Tom, it's always good to see someone using thier machinery and looking after it as well. Good on you. I would have that deck myself if I had a Å´heel Horse that is! I can't believe that Iain bought your WH, he must be colour blind or you told him it was a Bolens in disguise! He's very pleased with it.
  7. Charlie whetted my appetite for a walk behind machine and I came across this in Plymouth. I haven't bought it but I am interested. Does anyone know anything about them? Is it complete? I know you can add more implements to this model. I will be interested to hear from anyone who got one. Thanks
  8. My Triumph66 username is threefold. I owned a '66 Triumph Herald, England won the World Cup in '66 and I was born in '66. Simple!
  9. A good buy there Charlie; look forward to see your magic on this.
  10. Thanks for the attached files; fascinating to read about the various implements available. I doubt if we could get half of them over here in the UK. I would like to get one of the company's sales brochures for my growing literature collection.
  11. At least you know the engine is ok. With your experience I am sure you will sort out the gear box.
  12. Hopefully you will see him onSunday to seal the deal. Best of luck
  13. That look like a good buy there. Do you know what models they are?

    Bolens 800

I have now ordered some drive belts for both the 800 and the 1254 from the States at a very competitive price and the shipping was extraordinarily cheap. Hopefully get them in a few weeks so I can do the 800.
  15. A very unusual GT. Nice videos of them too. I guess they are fairly rare over in the States?
  16. I would love one of those Brinly cultivators too. Another thing to add to my growing wants list.
  17. George, That's a heavy duty Rotovator you got there. Is that a Gutbrod make? The soil look to be in good heart too. Cheers Andrew
  18. Looking forward to seeing photos of your friend's Bolens collection. If I was nearer I would help out with the 600!

    Bolens G14

Sound like Stormin and Rocboni's advice could be the way forward to fix this. Worth a go I would have thought.
  20. That's a lovely looking Bolens Ride a Matic you took a photo of Paul. Look like it might be worth a visit next year.
  21. That's a great find. Well done. I have seen the Cub Cadet 76 model all decked out in the Bi Centennial colours; most eye catching!

    Bolens G14

Excellent news Iain. This will spur you on to resolve all the other issues on the G14. What's the next Bolens you going to sort out?
