James, look forward to seeing this in action on your Å´heel Horse when you get it set up.
-
Hello Jack, welcome to MOM from Devon. You're in the right place for advice and you will get a lot of help from the Wheel Horse lads. Good luck with your quest.
-
Lovely collection of both WH and the CC. All you need now is a Bolens to enhance your collection.....
I need bought one last year in Dorset but it needed a lot of work and I must get my Bolens 1254 running as well as the Bolens Lawn Keeper when I collect it next week.
How much do these CC go for?
-
I am rather taken by International Cub Cadets and like the Bolens, they appear to have a good assortment of practical implements. I nearly bought a brand new Cub cadet last year for a possible contract. I was impressed with the range and the competitive prices aimed at contractors. Anyway, it is a good read.

Attachments for bolens are rare in the uk, most are in Iain or Andrews sheds
I think Iain's is well ahead of the game! Frustratingly, most of the tractors and attachments are up country.
-
You have a great collection OB! I would love to hear more about your collection including your attachments. I console myself with having a good collection of genuine Bolens brochures including the attachments. Mind you, I do have that Howard Bolens rear PTO driven cylinder mower!
I agree with Iain's comments about having more info regarding Bolens as they are rather thin on the ground here.
Thanks Andrew
-
Paul, I think you're going to like this one! Here's a clue. Yellow Fever. Andrew
-
How many Bolens do you have in your collection. I have seen some of your posts on GTTalk. I agree with Chris, this have whetted my appetite for more Bolens!
-
Yes both arrived this morning under separate cover! I contacted the editor to correct my address which is in hand and should be sorted for the next issue.
-
I just received my magazines from L> this morning. I read Paul's article about Newby Hall in Nov/ Dec issue and will have a read later on the Jan/ Feb issue. Really well written with some great photos. I would heartily recommend subscribing to this magazine to further your knowledge and I am sure those who have subscribed to this over the years will feel the same
-
Mark, you could ask the company to give you a free kit for the use of your videos/ photos? It's good that your work on your WH is appreciated.
-
Yes Saxon Trailers are very good. I used one towed by a Kubota garden tractor (can't remember the tractor model but it was made in the 80s and was one of the small ones) through the formal garden at a NT property. that the gravel paths were hedged on either sides with box.
-
I got a Sealey 50 l air compressor which is suitable for my needs. What's importance is to buy a quality air line and attachments. Also drain the tank after each use to reduce condensation inside the tank.
-
I love Landys myself but now got a Toyota HIlux MK4 single cab for my business. For comfort, I would go for Hilux myself but for serious off-roading a Land Rover is the DB.
-
Is that on the back of your Gutbrod tractor?
-
Happy New Year to everyone on the forum. I hope 2015 will be as good as 2014. All the best Andrew
-
Daniel, I have seen your handiwork on your cars and your detailing is superb. I look forward to see more of your panels being created.
Nice work yet again.
Andrew
-
Ian,
Your video is on the U.S. Garden Tractor Talk under UKWheelHorse. I have already said I have met you and even driven the 6x6.You're getting famous over there. You might have to move to move over there to ensure your success continues....... I am told the gals just love an English accent.
By the way, another great video.
Cheers
-
That's a fabulous looking GT there; very envious!
-
That's very decent of him. Good luck with the project James.
-
Tidy looking machine there Iain. Good luck with the sale/deal.
-
A great looking car and at least I got the Sunbeam right! It's a shame Rootes couldn't produce more of the Tigers and Alpines.
-
I would love a snow blower for my Bolens; there are a few on the USA bay at the moment at tempting prices but it is the shipping that is the killer. I echo Ian's comments about the lack of snow in the SW to justify buying one sadly.
-
You're making good progress there. BTW, what's the sports car? Is it a Sunbeam Alpine?
-
Yes, I have seen this romping one before. Show how good these little tractors are though I am not sure about the unnecessary damage to the river banks though. Having said that, it is a good video.
