  1. Tried to add this to the sticky at the top, but somebody has it locked. It' for sale on eBay right now.
  2. No sorry, you do not have enough clout here, yet. Moderator please remove this. Go Blues! Joe in St. Louis
  3. This boat came with the very rare Octura modified engine with a rotary valve. I transferred the engine in to the White Heat, which was much more appropriate. Thanks for that link.
  4. I would like to sell this boat, sans engine if anybody is interested.
  5. I have found them at one of the good ol' True Value Hardware stores that carry the odd old stuff that you cannot find any more.
  6. Leave it. I've never had a problem with them. Use clean fuel and a good pre-filter.
  7. Also, sometimes if you just walk away from them for a while, come back and try again, they fire right up and run like a top! Don’t forget to make sure that your fuel tank is venting properly.
  8. I have done all of mine with lubriplate. Johnboy ^^^ explains it to a tee, and David ^^^ puts a lid on it.
  9. Orline chainsaw fuel tank gaskets were popular, back when I had 'em.
  10. David, those retaining clips are a nightmare and I never did figure out how to install them. I have literally spent hours on them. Call me stupid, but they suck. The later retaining spring is a much better design and I have actually cut grooves in older recoil housings with a Dremel to accept the later style.
  11. Nice addition! Don’t see those brochures very often.
  12. The bottle allows the tank to vent in all different positions without leaking fuel.
  13. I have many parts for this engine, including original carb and electrical components.
  14. In my view, the most annoying and painful job on these units is the recoil...
  15. A very nice one sold recently on ePay for $400. I have an NOS one stashed around here somewhere, along with an NOS circular saw in it's metal case.
  16. Ahhh, the Japanese knock off of the O&R that ran better and was more reliable...
  17. The common type air cleaner assembly may be the most asked for part, other than the carb diaphragm. They have become like hen's teeth as well.
  18. Here they are: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Orline-123-Chainsaw-OEM-Cover-Plate/152095261381?hash=item23699582c5:g:pUwAAOSwXSJXPJLW https://www.ebay.com/itm/Orline-123-Chainsaw-OEM-Air-Filter/162075193277?hash=item25bc6f2fbd:g:gCoAAOSwXSJXPJGj:rk:88:pf:0 This guy is really expensive on his parts and I would check with me before buying anything from him. This housing is hard to find and he is selling them separately. I would ask him if he could put them together at one price- I have new filters. Hopefully sometime this month, I can get everything together for you. Like I said, I kinda want to do an "all for one" deal. Please be patient.
  19. What about the gasket between the carb and the manifold? I'm looking! David, do you think that these would work without the pulse hook up? Just trying to see if these would make a good replacement for the crappy originals...
  20. Do you have a photo of the carb to manifold gasket?
  21. I could never get a spark by hand. These are the things that you will learn along the way. Eventually, you may acquire the "O&R Master" title, at least in the States.
