4x4forks reacted to The Fife Plooman in My new attempt at making my plough work
Hi all
I have reached plan Z I am now on plan A again I have used my Gutbrod plough beam and married it to the BMB frog and board only need to work on the skimmer or disc
I am also looking at a longer mouldboard to fit the Gutbrod frog the board I have on is 22 inches from back to front the new one is 39 inches from back to front
Two plans on the go if one works I will be happy

4x4forks reacted to The Fife Plooman in My new attempt at making my plough work
Hi all
Had my new plough in the ground today for the first not very bonny but a start has been made
Need to make mouldboard tilt and check for plough for running parallel with the tractor but in principal it is OK both things can be sorted seems easy to pull the ground was not the best it was barley straw that had been cultivated but I have made a start, and happy it can be altered to work well

4x4forks reacted to HeadExam in Getting the Food Plots Ready
I have two food plots ready right now, the third is larger than these two together. My plan is to plant in stages to stagger the harvest into late next fall and have the sun room ready to use as a winter green house

4x4forks reacted to pmackellow in Wheelhorse R26, new addition to the fleet
Went oop North to pick this up today
It's a Wheelhorse R26 rear engine rider, fairly rare over here I would think
It's a bit rough and ready at the moment but it has the all important spec plate, a sound deck and was not dear
so a good project methinks
Not a runner but has good compression so fingers crossed
Here's some photos...

4x4forks got a reaction from WestwoodGazelle in Early xmas present !
Opps ! How did that happen ? I was driving down the road and I found this in my trailer
Just bought another tractor. Allen Oxford Motostandard with finger bar mower and including a gen owners and parts manual.
Everything works great and the only missing thing is one front indicator lens is missing .
Now need some long grass to mow .

Just keep an eye on things if you increase the bade speed. It can rattle thing loose. I lost a couple of bolts from my fingerbar.

Just had a go with it as a hedge cutter in the upright position, works quite well but would be better on my Gutbrod 1032 with the reduction hubs in to slow down forward speed and increase blade speed

Very nice machine, I noticed it on the bay and was tempted but didn't need another, I thought it was a very good price though. Do you not find you need the front weight?
