    Time for a play!
I have just coupled the lawn slitter, aerator behind the spring tines and with a little amount of weight works well. It,s a bit early but I was keen to give it a tryout.

Found an AC, great shape after paint, lights and now ag's.
Engine ran fine but, had a 16 hp on the shelf.
Grandson is keeping the driveways graded.

The standard rear wheels on the C-121, (Black Horse), though fitted with ag tyres, are a little wide for ploughing. The earlier narrower wheels tend to be a bit hard to come by.
I acquired a pair of 700 x 12 ag tyres off the Fife Pooman. These had come off a walk behind and practically new. Tubes with them as well. Bit narrow for the standard wheels, but as I had some spare wheels a plan was formed. People widen wheels, so how about going t'other way?
Off to a local engineering firm with a pair of wheels. A week later I had six wheel parts and my wallet £20 lighter.

Today I had some workshop time and started to build them up.

Gavin who had machined them for me, had marked them up. So each half would match it's respective other half. The cut out centre pieces I cut through once to make a band that would hold the two halves in position. Yes, I know. I should have taken a photo.
The band was placed round the two wheel halves and clamped in position. I only used one G clamp, as I only had one big enough and moved it round as I tacked the band in place. With both wheels done and the welds cleaned up a bit, the result is below.

Not pretty I know, but they will be. Next job is to clean off the old paint. One job I really enjoy.

Yah! It works. Not set yet, I will have to find some virgin ground to work on. Also fitted my Xmas present of a tool box behind the seat.

    Morning All.
Just picked up the plough yesterday an I was wondering if anyone could recognise it as a known made.
Some one has welded up the disc swivel but not to much wear on the disc bearing .  the moldboard  adjuster has freed off ok and it just need a clean and paint.

Google Brinley ploughs. You can buy them new in the States last year. About £250 our money. One here on flea-bay went for really daft money. You could have imported one for less.

I have a similar plow without the wheel. It was made by Brinly for Wheel Horse.

I have found that the Disc mount position is not standard. Once I unbolted it the holes have been gas cut out but you can see the standard position forward of it.

    Brave man!
By the look of it you have a Peerless VST205 transaxle. Countax were the first OEM to fit that box in the UK and it was an unmitigated disaster. Your Hayter is possibly from a batch of machines made for them by Countax - standard K or C series machines painted green and usually with Kohler engines.
The attached service bulletin makes the point that dealers were advised not to undertake repairs but to swap out the complete box. The lack of quality control was such that some boxes never gave problems while others failed within days of being put to use . Sometimes a replacement box was so rough that it never left the workshop. Our record was two consecutive dud warranty replacements before finding one that we would let go back to the customer.
The claim that they didn't need a tow/dump valve was a bit wide of the mark and it wasn't long before they were produced with a mechanical disconnect kit to make it possible to move the machines without engine power.
Needless to say, Countax only used that box for one season.

Deffo gear oil for the diff, then 10w/40 or atf for the hydro bit. I use 10w/40 in my sundstrand hydro. But peerless tended to use Mobil 424, which replaced dexron atf. You could put atf back or a reasonable engine oil in my opinion...
