Now it's out in daylight it looks much more saveable
Liking the air cleaner, a neat small thing.
-
Great photo's Paul, it looks like it was a fine show
-
A nice pair, the D-200 really does it for me
Looking at the front hitch I'd guess it's used for moving caravans or boat trailers?
-
Thanks Kenny, glad your happy with my work.... At long last the end is in sight
-
Must be a very cold Kermit as he is blue
-
A great collection you have
Does the blue one have a name?
-
Your only jealous that when I was dribbling over your Holder the paint stopped it rusting
-
A little update for you chaps..
The big patches have been fully welded up.
And a small hole at the front got the same treatment, I just need to trim it to size.
I also found another small hole on the right side of the seat base..
Which turned into a bigger hole.
For some reason I forgot to take any photo's of that patch being welded on, so here's one of the big patches marked out for trimming to size.
And that chaps is the seat pan just about done.. as ever there is a little grinding of welds inside to be done, but that's all.
Sorry this one's a bit blurred!
-
Happy birthday Michael, here's wishing you a good day
-
Good luck with your latest project Richard, if it were mine I would take the engine and bars off, then stick the rest in a vat of diesel to free things up.. Saying that, maybe an E-tank session is the way to go...
-
Sorry it's taken me ages to reply to you mate, I kept forgetting to take any photo's until the wire running out yesterday reminded me!
My new-ish welded is also a SIP MigMate, but this one is of much sturdier construction... The wire feed gubbins are made of nice strong steel which doesn't bend unlike the plastic ones..
The thing that freaks me out with the new welder is it has/never had a cooling fan built in!!! Which means I forget it's turned on as I can't hear it!!
-
A nice collection you have there Paul.. I know who to ring should we get a power cut
-
Good to see the pit bike up and running at last, I remember when you bought it last year
-
Having seen this fine machine today, all I can say is it's a good job you gave her the diesel treatment or my dribbling over it would of made her rust more
-
Don't you just love it when a plan comes together
-
Thanks Mark, I think it has a kind of "Darth Vader" look about it
-
That's a cool find Paul, it will look great behind your President
-
Are you aiming for world Boadicea domination?
-
That looks like a fun and productive way to spend a few hours..
-
The seat pan is not quite finished yet, but for now I will leave these couple of photos here
-
Oops, maybe a slight smelling mistake there
-
Don't restore it Koen, it looks great as it is
-
Looks a nice venue Kev, not sure about carb on the bbq, but some sheep burgers would be nice
-
