  1. Got a few more bits fitted today, rear fender support, dash tower and dash and righthand footrest.

all the steering fitted and greased also connected the clutch and brake.

Must remember when i take tractors apart to remove broken spiltpins from operating rods  very annoying when rebuilding them.

  2. A sad day for me as ive had let one go to a new home. Its a Commando 800 that ive had a few years and gone to a new owner who will use it for towing a small trailer around his property.

Its got a nice dry stable and will share it with his Toro ride on so won't be lonely.

    heres a couple of photos.

Just read up about these machines apparently the digging end of the vacuum can inject very high pressure air or water to loosen the soil as it is sucked up.

It has a poker type rod about 5 foot long with a air hose attached to the end, if you look at the second photo its laying on the floor and in the forth photo the chap is holding it with the airline over his shoulder.

He just pokes it in the dirt and turns the air on. :hide:

  5. The Bobcat with the pecker just breaks through the tarmac and concrete and loosely the dirt then the vacuum sucks it all up.

The new plastic main is inside the old cast iron pipe, then they disconnect each house and inject expanding foam in between the old and new, smash the old cast iron pipe and fit a saddle.

the service pipe to the house is the same with a plastic pipe inside the old pipe, then just connected to the meter.

all done with live gas so no smoking while they do it.
