the showman 4,074 #1 Posted June 6, 2017 Dearly beloved, we gathered at Johns today for the collection of the Sears Roper where it has been kept for the last few months in a nice warm workshop wrapped in blankets. It was pulled from the brambles years ago and nursed back to life by Alan and his heeling hands and now due to lack of storage he has to pass it on reluctantly to a new owner. A very sad day as he tried to stop me loading it into the awaiting Sprinter all without success. Heres some photos of the proceedings. Hankys at the ready 9 pmackellow, Cub Cadet, Triumph66 and 6 others reacted to this
Stormin 4,458 #2 Posted June 6, 2017 Never mind Alan. I'll take good care of it and you can see it and maybe have a drive in August when I come down south. BTW. I hope any tear stains have been cleaned off the bonnet. 5 slf-uk, the showman, Alan and 2 others reacted to this

the showman 4,074 #12 Posted June 8, 2017 I think some of the oil cans have leaked on the way up north, it said on the news there's a 300 mile oil slick from south to north of the country . police are looking for a van full of empty cans 3 Alan, Stormin and pmackellow reacted to this

Stormin 4,458 #18 Posted June 11, 2017 Disco's white. Like my hair. The Sears is now at its new home safe and sound. If a little wet. 2 Alan and pmackellow reacted to this
Alan 1,273 #19 Posted June 11, 2017 OOP's. I'll check first next time. Looks like you all had a good weekend, apart from the wet stuff. Hope you had fun with the Sears / Roper.
Stormin 4,458 #20 Posted June 11, 2017 I'm well pleased with it, Alan. It's running a bit rich but I'll be sorting that. Thanks for taking care of it this year gone. 2 Alan and pmackellow reacted to this
Stormin 4,458 #21 Posted June 12, 2017 The Sears is now in it's new abode making friends with it's new companions. I did find that the front spark plug was very wet and the rear dry. New set of plugs in and it's running a lot better. No spitting back in the carb. 3 pmackellow, Alan and the showman reacted to this

the showman 4,074 #23 Posted June 12, 2017 Blimey, look at all that room in front. You need to buy four more. 1 pmackellow reacted to this
Alan 1,273 #24 Posted June 12, 2017 A good line up Norm. Don't think the Roper really made friend's with the B115 and the scrap Westwood in John's shed. Probably why it always wanted to hide away under sheets. 2 Stormin and pmackellow reacted to this
