Hi All, Thought I would just show you these that I have made in the last week. I had some harrows that were just towed which is a pain as I would have to put them on a trailer all the time so I thought I would make life easier by putting them in a frame. The frame is 40x40 box and I also made some legs so it isn't always on the ground. The chain in the middle to stop them sagging is the original towing chain. The size is 2 meters square. When I looked on the auction site they were going for £ 250- £500 mine cost me about £50 plus my time. I only had to pay for the box and the shackles everything else has been kicking about here and the harrows were in a hedge surplus to requirements. Paul

The Ransomes plate has it as Mg40- The Ransomes register has it as a Mg40, I have a photo of the plate with serial no and designation (mg40) which I took when researching it. It only matters to members of the site who may need reference to info regarding an Mg40 who wont find it under Mg6. If you post a photo of the plate on the machine would this help. Id no is 15295.

Well I've been to the workshop today and thought I would spend a quick ten min on the crawler what actually turned into 4 hours. Hope you like the photos and video I have only rebuilt it too see what it looks like as I have never seen one before it will get restriped ready for restoration. The Land Rover mag's went/have gone the same way. I used to get two, but don't bother any more.
