    Billy Goat.

This Billy Goat is something else I brought back from down south. Although I've rotated the first photo the right way up, it keeps coming up like this. The engine is a 5hp B&S. Had a bit of a look at it today. Compression is good but no spark. Plug ok. Tried it on one of the tractors. Pull start freed up and working. Also height adjustment now working. I need a puller for the flywheel to get at the points. Till then I'll remove and clean tank and carb. Once I get it running and see how it performs, then I'll decide what I'm going to do with it. I doubt it'll stay as is.

    Latest addition to the herd

This is my most recent new toy, a gravely tractor with loader. I am very pleased with it as everything works and it is a strong tractor. Unfortunately the rear fender is missing and some has attacked the unit with red oxide. My plan is to restore it eventually and put some better tyres on the rear for traction. Here are a few pictures. Harry

Great video, wasn't sure what to expect when you were decending the muddy incline!! You made it back out. I got my 1956 Ford 860 Ag tractor stuck up to the rear axle in the mud ONCE...... Never again.....

Nice find! Looks super clean, straight and with good paint. Here is a stupid question. Which one of you is going to repair and reinstall the engine or are you going to replace it with something else?

I remember going out as an RAC patrolman to an HC one evening in the late 70's on the A1, burning oil, running like a pig on three cylinders. Two elderly ladies in the car heading home somewhere up north, RAC rescue, not recovery membership. Engine had a holed piston, I pulled the rocker cover, rockers and pushrods on the duff cylinder, topped the oil up and away they went, on three cylinders, no smoke, running as sweet as a nut, try that on a modern engine! I seem to remember they also used to burn through the "hot spot" between the manifolds, resulting in an early example of E.G.R.
