    Had this geezer arive in my town today

    This Bloke arrived in my town today to take a look at the floods on the Somerset Levels . Top dude donated 50.000 big ones to help the poor folk that are under water .

    Good Morning Gents- Going to the Outhouse in the winter- Getting a drink (with a ladel) out of the porcalin pail with water in it in the kitchen- Looking down thru the Heat floor registers upstairs at the adults talking in living room- Cutting wood & caring for the big "Potbellied" Stove in the living room- Cutting the large yard with a push reel type mower- Collecting eggs from the chickens- Watching Grandma Twist the heads off the chickens & letting the body chase me around the yard- Opening the door for the "Iceman" bringing the ice block for the "Icebox" Taking a bath as a child in the kitchen sink- Listening to radio stations on my "foxhole" crystal radio- Thanks-Al

    1. Having to do as you were told. 2. Proper Wagon Wheels at thrupence each. My Saturday morning treat for going for the shopping. I was six. 3. No child seats in cars. 4. Cream sticking out of the top of milk bottles when freezing. 5. Crash helmets not compulsory on motorbikes. 6. Knowing how to switch the tele off as well as on. 7. Meccano. 8. Mowing the lawns. (Push mower). 9. Sweeping the yard and drive. Cleaning the windows. Chopping kindling. Saturday morning job for 5 bob (25p) pocket money. 10. Teachers with canes, slippers, wooden rules. And they could use 'em.

    Being a child of the 80's I'm not sure I can name 10 but this is what I remember from being a child that isn't around anymore. 1. Nes and gameboys, (still got mine to give to my son when he's older). 2. VHS. 3. Records 4. Tv with only four channels to watch, and no remote. 5.metal toys instead of today's cheap plastic. 6.the sun in the sky! It seems so long scince we've seen it in Britain that I've kind of forgotten what it looks like! 7. No Internet 8. No mobiles.

    Am now waiting for a carb kit to come in from the states(about half the price of one in the uk) and also am waiting for some more off cuts of steel to finish the rotor shields off, this is why I allways keep a few projects on the go at once.
