now who would do such a thing?

-
Tracking this on Facebook too and keeping a look out, fingers crossed!
-
Tidy work Ian.... and Nigel
-
Awesome, looks like it could lift a tank too!
-
It's that time where I best start drumming up some interest and entrants for this years Northern Wheel Horse catch up...
We will again be meeting at Newby hall gardens nr Ripon, North Yorks.
11-12th June
Be great if we can break the 35 we've had previously!!!!
-
The handbrake rocker bit, all gets a bit tight trying to miss 3rd gear and fit through the small gap.
-
only an inch left... You didn't make enough mistakes! God knows how many cuts and welds we did trying to miss the brake mechanism and third gear
-
Just back in, just a little colder than we would like.
Both doors hung, missus happy to have dining room back
-
Hi,
Yes raider 12 manual is the same.
The strap is home made to stop the hub sliding in, later models used two setscrews.
That model no is a later style number where 11 would be 71, 12= HP, k= Kohler, 8 = 8 speed. 01 = belgium.
That style was used from 77 onwards, so someone has added that later...
-
Slow progress, last weeks navigation canal slowed us down.
The calm and wet has forced me to this painting in the dining room
Missus not impressed, dog keeps jumping up to have a look and gets paint in her paws, then runs off...
-
Thanks for your concerns chaps, we had a lot of water - nothing like you had a few years ago though Neil!
Fortunately ours drains away pretty quickly, it's just the path it takes that's not that agreeable
All that water is now ice, it was minus four last night.... Brrrrrr
-
Nice find, Richard is right. Around 1973-1980 the Belgian models weren't always stickered as the model number indicates...
-
A little more than we had, 50mph winds put paid to that here!
-
When my last one broke I really panicked, it was about the first power tool plugged in when we moved house.
Awesome for cleaning tubing and polishing welds
-
Nice work Norm,
I made the same mistake fouling the filler tube!
-
I love mine, on my second one.first me did 20 years! Belts are cheap too from screwfix!
-
There's a teardown thread somewhere in the web when we did my sons Westwood gearbox.

Hi,
I forgot the B-115 is 5 speed. Doh! I was think of the 600 series in a B-111
Yes you have to split the two halves, they are usually filled with bentonite grease. All 5 speeds and reverse are in constant mesh with a sliding pin that is the selector. Over time they can wear badly and get bent/stepped which makes it hard to push through the gears.
You can get replacement ones though, so it is repairable!

All the best dude, don't drink too much!
-
Yes, but most folks haven't heard of winterburn so it's easier to say malham.
-
That's down the lane from me Norm, that's where my water goes... The reservoir is less than a mile away, winterburn reservoir, built to fill the Leeds Liverpool canal - which is now full if you were wondering
-
Pics slow to upload, been copying them for an hour!
