This is my latest project what I have gained from a old bloke I know. I spent a couple of nights the past couple of weeks getting it running for him then he said he was selling it so I got it for a really good price. I'm going too take the trip mechanism off and make it hydraulic tipping and restore it

Where I work there are loads of watercress beds. They have always had kubotas and I dont think I have ever seen any break down yet. There is also quite a few dealers for them around this area. (Hampshire)

Had Titch down the other week so had most the collection out. Very nice to meet the man and can see why he is called Titch, but his good reputation is bigger.

    HI ALL
just some more pics. I have sorted all the wheels and tyres out now, just need to put the wheel weights back on the front, hydraulics sorted out but think I might have to replace the seals(will see when up and running). Even the dog likes it as a sun hat

Went to the machinery sale today after a finger bar mower for my BCS, it made a lot of money so I bought these instead. The same size I have on my C121. 7.00 x 12  Continental 4ply. 26" dia Unused, only thing is,4.25" pcd instead of 4.5" & centre hole is smaller, but nice thick centre so they can be re-drilled, or I may turn up some new hubs instead. Cost: £100 .00p for 4.

    Hi All
I didn't get round to putting the engine on its new trolley over the weekend but managed to get the gib keys out and remove the flywheels. That took most of Saturday, problem is it gets dark quick now or is it that it gets later earlier.
    Here is some pics.

Hi All This is the last engine in the mentioned barn, a Lister CS 6/1.
I thought the engine was seized but when drained about 3 litres of water out it turned over as you can see the bore dosent look to bad. Just got to free most the moving parts up now.

Here are several shots of the sickle mower that arrived this afternoon. It wa very well secured and well packaged. I took them in the dark so will get better ones in due course. It one of those things you have to buy quickly as these don't come up that often and I am pleased I didn't have to go through the uncertainty of eBay. Tomorrow I am collecting the 800 at long last.

Hope your mrs  does'nt  want it back nigel , it stinks of diesel, no hole in it though so will have to see if your wifes left some money in it.
Still judging be the other witty comments the smell could be a dead cat.  Joke on the side it does have a badge on it but cant remember what it says, I will look. The cap on it is stamped B P (British Petroleum I suppose). I have just made the trolley for the engine today as the one on it was completely rotted so hopefully I can put it on and move it about this weekend.

paul got a reaction from ranger in mounted chain harrows
    Hi All,
Thought I would just show you these that I have made in the last week.
I had some harrows that were just towed which is a pain as I would have to put them on a trailer all the time so I thought I would make life easier by putting them in a frame.
The frame is 40x40 box and I also made some legs so it isn't always on the ground. The chain in the middle to stop them sagging is the original towing chain. The size is 2 meters square. When I looked on the auction site they were going for £ 250- £500 mine cost me about £50 plus my time. I only had to pay for the box and the shackles everything else has been kicking about here and the harrows were in a hedge surplus to requirements.
