Been painting the underneath. Two coats of red oxide. I'd been given a couple of cans of Tetrosyl stone chip a while back. So I decided to use that. Three coats and it's begining to look better.

It could have had an engine change at some time.

Got a bit done to the shell today. It's been at a friends to have a couple of patches welded in. Better welder than yours truly. The steel I provided was a little thicker than the original and the patches do show. Though that's not a problem. It's going to be a worker, not a show piece. Should last me out. Attacked it with drill and wire wheel this morning and gave the underneath a coat of red oxide. Looks better already. It'll get a second coat tomorrow then a couple of coats of agricultural enamel. When that's done it'll be the turn of the top.

I've got booked in with the C-81, Black Horse and the Sears/Roper.

Brush painted. One coat red oxide and one of agricultural enamel. I bet you have.

I made a folder for up at the farm out of 3"x3" angle. Not precision but does what's needed.

It didn't steer very well either.

A standard hitch to fit a slot hitch would just be a piece of flat bar with a hole in each end. I may be making some more slot hitches and clevis ones at some future time.
