A mate of mine has a lawn keeper, its all there if I remember. I have seen it.
It did come with a spare bare new deck which we worked out was for the estate keeper.
I think I saw yours on the net??
Thanks for the coments guys
Iain hes 8lb 2oz big boy Dont know where he gets that from
I will have to fit the car seat to the Bolens some how now!
I am sure he will be tractor mad as he grows up
As some of you may or not know.
Today Liesa & I had a little boy, we have called him Jacob & he must be the youngest member on here now
He will look forward to looking at all of daddys tractors when he gets older
I could have fitted them tube less & filled them with water. I do have a water balasting valve tool at work which would have done the job
I would if he offered. Would make you cry if I told you what he paid for it, it did me! He did burn a few tanks of fuel to collect it though
Back on track now.
Fitted the wheels today. With these & a new coil on the engine, its un stopable now
Took the deck off for the winter & went & found some mud to plough through
I did notice the fins are quite blocked on this JD.
I have said to my mate Martin (the owner) we need to get the air line out or shes going to over heat
Never had any trouble with 1886 when mowing
Just an update.
We tried starting the beast last week but she was not having any of it
Took the carb off & found it full of water! So having it cleaned & a carb overhaul kit from Mike Hitchins should sort it.
Few other issues we spotted, ie some wiring & clean the fuel tank out.
A slow project at the min!
Well if you want to bring down we can try
You must have driven past my place with it all those years ago when you brought it
Still kick myself not bidding on the other 23 last year
