amcrules00 reacted to paul in same old barn different find
Hi All
I didn't get round to putting the engine on its new trolley over the weekend but managed to get the gib keys out and remove the flywheels. That took most of Saturday, problem is it gets dark quick now or is it that it gets later earlier.
Here is some pics.

amcrules00 reacted to the showman in 4HP kohler engine
A fellow member gave me the nod on this little engine on the bay, nobody bid on it and I won it for the starting price (£31).
As a few of my Wheelhorse's have this engine, I thought it would be a handy spare

Had a bit of spare time this afternoon so I refilled the tranny up with oil after i found the bleed screw to let the oil in, fired her up and surprise surprise it works.
took a while to get going and purge the air out, but seems ok, well it goes backwards and forwards.
next job to put the wheels back on and test it outside. (makes my eyes water with it running it in the shed)

amcrules00 reacted to Charlie Smith in What are you guys using this winter?
Hello All,
Today I said good bye to my 4 wheeled cart, which freed up enough room in the shed to take my two lawn rangers from the patio and put them into a dry place ... well its not 100% water tight in there... whilst out there I got all the tractors, engines, mowers and machines I have running, too keep everything moving and oiled up. Anything that was on the patio or out and about I've now put it all away and under cover in the shed for the winter... I know its early being only October but with college now by the time I get back home its dark and cant get out there and do anything,..
So with that, I decided to get the raider 10 set up and ready for winter duties I got some 12 mm thick rubber matting this summer knowing i would use it next time i got my snow plow out instead of the tyre we had to cut up last year I think it looks far better with this rubber skirt than the tyre..... Today I got the plow fitted onto the raider 10......here's to hoping....that's if we even get snow this winter... here is some pics....
I forgot how much of a tight fit it was.....
Whats your guys set ups going to be this winter?

Went with a mate to Nothamptonshire today & picked up this beast. Mate brought it, I towed it home to Sussex
Needs some tlc, fitted with a 20hp flat twin engine & a monster 60in deck c/w power steering!
Thought it was time to have a GREEN tractor on here
Anybody got any info on it & a set of rear lift arms
