  1. Looking bloody good Chris! Bet you are pleased with that.
  2. I have now sold this to a collector this afternoon who plan to get it up and running again before restoring it. Apparently the guy got quite a collection himself. Anyway it gone to a good home and it free up some space too.
  3. When I collected my Ford 100 garden tractor last year, the owner gave me a lot of odds and sods including these tyres which he bought back in the '70s but never got around putting them on. I am having a bit of a clear out to rationalise my collection and to ease my guilty conscious too! They are Dunlop 4. 12 (2 ply) cleated or Agri tyres with "Tractor Implement" on them. There's some cracking on the side walls due to the age but are superficial and the treads are virtually new with plenty of life in them. I guess they are for two wheel tractors or could be used on the front wheels of a garden tractor. I thought I would list these on here for MOM users first before I list them on Gumtree. PM me or leave a response on this post. I am in Devon. Looking for £50 for the two. I can 'post' at the buyer's expense. Andrew
  4. Norm, the trailer was part of my 'severance pay' as my customer were down sizing and moving up country. The owner of the trailer always looked after his possessions.
  5. For the tramission oil do you use EP90? If so can it be synthetic or no synthetic?
  6. Well I collected it this morning from Somerset, a 150 miles round trip and have already used it for 10 minutes to assess what needs doing. A good service and changing the transmission oil will do wonders. The blades are fine for what I need to do with it. I have posted up several photos of it in the back of my £50 Ifor Williams trailer. I am well chuffed with both the trailer and scythe mower.
  7. That Marina estate is absolutely cracking. Would love that for myself.....
  8. I decided to buy a BCS scythe mower instead. In fact I a collecting it tomorrow from Somerset. It's about 18 years old and have been well looked after. I would have like to have used an old scythe mower but I needed something practical and reliable for my business.
  9. I had had a text from Pam a few days back. She said something about getting rid of that " horrid yellow thing". Not sure if it the dandelions in your lawn or the CC......
  10. The guy I rent my lockup from phoned me a few weeks ago to see if I wanted an old ATCO mower for free. I thought it would be rude to turn him down so I said yes! Here are some photos of the beast. It does not run at the moment nor is there a grass box unfortunately.

Not quite! I like them as well
  12. That does look really good Norm.. Wonderful creative skills there and the proportion of the roller and the tractor is spot on.
  13. The timber looks absolutely great Chris. The Danish Oil will accentuate the grains in the wood.
  14. Ewan. I look forward to see you on Grand Designs one day! No pressure mate!
  15. Good luck Ewan. My son is just about to start his GCSEs on Monday. He will then be at Sixth Form himself in September and then hopefully Uni..... What are you studying at Uni?
