  1. Seen that. Could be a good buy for someone local. What at I need is a Wisconsin engine for my 1254.
  2. That right I couldn't remember what you got. That Gilson will be very interesting.
  3. How many a Bolens have you got?
  4. Nice haul Chris. What Kohler parts do you have?
  5. I am very impressed with that Bolens. All mine are Tube Frames virtually. I do like the look of the style of the QTs. The Q denotes Quiet apparently and that certainly appears to be the case with yours. You got me thinking..... Did you make the point links?
  6. Now on Gumtree.....
  7. That's one mean looking Bolens you got there. Impressive.
  8. What tractor did you use to move it? A Bolens?
  9. Norman's right about the Leylandii. I got some from a customer last January (2015) and there is still a bit if sap seeping through. Gives out a good heat though so worth storing it for a couple of seasons.
  10. I agree with you Chris about the age of the trailer. Anyway looking forward to the ash frames which will set it off to a T.
  11. Great to know the manufacturer's name. Do you know the age approximately of your trailer Chris?
  12. What's the make of your trailer Chris? Good to have info as Paul say.
  13. Not been there for ages so I will endeavour to visit Amberly sometime. Great photos and it looks darn hot over there too.

Hopefully another Bolens LF owner will give you his opinion. I do 't have a LF myself so I am only going on what others have said.

I know that the Kohler twin engines in the Bolens Large Frames (1886 models) have a tendency to overheat but whether that is the design of the engine or the lack of air glow within the engine bay I am not too certain. One thing for sure if the engine is shot it will be very expensive to repair.
  16. Is it a Bolens? The hump on the bonnet suggest that's might be a late H16 or something of that nature? The steering wheel appears to be fairly modern.
  17. Holy Crap! It's amazing what's knocking around in the fuel tank.

Get in touch with Rick aka Blackjakexxxxvvx on GTT. He's a top bloke and may be able to help you out. You could mention my name Andrew from the UK. Enjoy Florida!
  19. Thanks for posting the photos. I do like that diesel tractor in its original state. Just delightful.
  20. Brilliant find and a rare one to boot too! I will ill be really interested to see more photos of this. For more info, get some photos up on GTT in the appropriate forum.

    Bolens HT20

That's my understanding too. The only other thing is to dig deep and try and get the parts from the US from a supplier who might be breaking a HT20/ implement.
  24. Unbelievable some people I am afraid. These CC can fetch strong money.
  25. I know several who got Cub Cadets though.....
